Great experience in a great hotel! I have enjoyed the hospitality of this hotel. Food was great and friendlyness of the staff second to none. Again a hotel I was on business but one which I will visit with my wife!

4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2012

The hotel is new, very modern and well decorated. Our room was exceptionally clean, and the bathroom had a large walk in shower, which was convenient (although it also has the small glass door that only covers half of the shower area that is so common in Europe...what's up with that....why not go with a full size shower curtain so you don't have to worry about splashing water everywhere???) Other than that, it was a great room, and the bed was very very comfortable. And the rooms are very well insulated and sound proofed, so you don't hear anything through the walls. It has free wifi and a nice sized flat screen TV.

The location of the hotel is a bit distant from the City Center, but that's reason it's so affordable. The hotels in the City Center is very pricey, and the traffic and parking are horrific. This hotel is located in a residential area. This hotel also seems to cater more toward the business folks, but it didn't affect our stay in any way. The hotel staff was just average as they weren't greatly friendly nor unfriendly. They didn't seem all that knowledgeable as their answers to some of our touristy questions weren't very helpful nor informative. One thing we found humorous was when my wife asked if the area was safe, and the front desk guy answered, "Yes, it's safe. But don't walk alone." And he wasn't even being sarcastic or trying to be funny....we were laughing about that answer for quite some time. But overall, the area seemed safe. There is a grocery store just across the street, which can be convenient if needed.

The hotel also has an indoor spa that the staff said is "free" to the guests. However, when we visited the spa, we learned that it costs 9 euros per person if you want to use their locker. The 9 euros provide you with a robe, towel and a pair of slippers. If you want it to be "free", you have to change in your own room...but the kicker is, you can't come even with a shirt on from your room to the spa if you want the admission to be "free". But they let us share a locker to keep our shirts and key in...we found their definition of "free" to be humorous as well, just like their definition of "safe". The spa has a jacuzzi, but the temperature is just mediocre warm, and not hot. But I think the European jacuzzis are all like that, because we found many jacuzzis all throughout Europe to be luke warm. It also has a dry sauna and wet sauna room along with a lounge area.

The breakfast at the hotel is very good and fresh. In addition to the typical European breakfast, they also provided scrambled eggs and bacon. They also have some items for the vegetarians.

Overall, the hotel and the room were great. The staff is about average, but they weren't bad. The location is not the best, but at the same time, you don't have to deal with the City Center's nightmarish traffic and parking and the ridiculous price. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Room Tip: We had room #6016 and our friends had #6018. Both rooms were great, very quiet, and had a good size...

Stayed at this hotel for Saloni fair from April 18th to 25th.
It was rally great hotel. Booked this hotel after checking the reviews on tripadvisor like always.
Hotel was exactly as shown on the picture from Hotel's website as well as pictures taken by other reviewer. Brand new hotel, very high-tech, we have been upgraded to "executive floor" at the 7th. Our room was 3701 and my colleagues on 3703. 3701 was much nicer than 3703 even located on same floor and same grade. There are two tv screens in the room. One by the bed and another next to the sofa. We also had the espresso machine, but it wasn't free. Was actually quite expensive. Around 4EUR, so we didn't use it. Hotel provided 1 bottle of mineral water free of charge, which was nice. It's like 10 min. walk to the station M1 Turro. It wasn't bad but the area is really quiet during the night, so it wasn't much comfortable walking alone. You won't get the taxi on that area. But if you ask the reception, they had direct call line for taxis and within 4min you will get the taxi in front of the hotel. Hotel has very nice garden. On Sunday the weather was so nice so I had spent some time with the coffe at the garden, sunbathing.
Breakfast was bit disappointing. They have no many options. Very limited hot dishes; Omelette, Bacon and cooked vegetable which changed everyday. Juice was availalble from the machine which was nice since it was cold and fresh. Their Croissant was nice though.
There's a Carrefour near the Turro station, so for those who don't want to spend money on expensive minibar or roomservice, it was good alternative. In front of the hotel, there was a small Pizzaria really worth the money. It was small and humble. But their service and the food was really good.Try their Seafood spaghetti.
Trully recommend this hotel who would not care being bit left apart from the city center. For people who comes for the fair, it would also be better to choose a hotel near Porta Garibaldi station where there's a S line train reaching the fairground at 15min. But for those who's seeking for relaxing and quiet stay, I would definetely recommend this place.

Room Tip: Choose the executive floor if there's good offer. Room 3701 was really nice

Very nice, new property. As it happens it is in a great location for my business needs in Milano. It also proposes free parking which is a big plus. Nevertheless it seems that the location of the hotel may not be best suited for people wanting proximity to the turist or downtown sections of the town. I did notice a metro stop not too far from the hotel which could make getting around easier. I did have a challenge with my shower - wouldn't stay a constant tempurature... Breakfast is good, service is professional, happy hour bar is a nice plus. Neighborhood is forgetable.

We were driving from Nice to Milan and thankfully we ha sat nav to guide us to the hotel whic seems quite out of the way but we could also see metro stations quite close by. The hotel is huge and the rooms are spacious and clean and bright. The balcony looks out over a beautiful garden and putting green. The bathroom was huge and the shower had good water pressure. The staff were very helpful and professional and made us feel very welcome. After a great night sleep we were ready for breakfast which was incredible! So much choice and all so delicious. Espresso coffee machine too. Bacon, eggs, veges, bread, cereal, fruits, yogurt and the croissants were still warm. Breakfast was really busy but all of the food is spread out so there is no crowding and they are constantly replenishing so nothing ran out even past 10am.
It looks as though this is a good work/business hotel as they have a lot of facilities that we as holiday makers didn't need. Would definately stay there if we did the drive again and the location wasn't really a problem unless you planned on a late night wander in search of a bar which we had wanted to do, instead we had a drink at the hotel bar on the comfy sofas and it was a mere elevator ride to bed :)

Spent 2 nights at the Ramada whilst the room was amazing, the balcony could off done with a couple of chairs, nothing around and quite frankly wouldn't be walking around this neighbourhood at night. The shuttle to the train station was a bonus and was a good walk to the plazza del Duomo from there, however gives you a chance to see the sights, can't say I would be rushing back to Milan, overrated and boring.

The hotel is like a 'ghost town'....there is only one restaurant in the evening and nobody (that we could see) ever eats there! We had a 'suite' .....balcony/terrace was a very large concrete area with NO chairs or table...just a vast open space of concrete! The Room was good but the bathroom was minute....only 1 person could really fit in...due to design and door opening inwards. We had twin beds as i was with my daughter....really uncomfortable ...'Caesars Palace' it isn't ....more like travel lodge in the UK (on a bad day)! Breakfast not impressive.....told if a wanted croissants without marmalade filling and i would have to wait until the whole tray had been eaten ....before bringing any plain ones out (even though they had them in the 'kitchen'.....great customer service!! On the plus side the coffee maker is great with lots of different coffee pods to choose from and the shuttle is good if you want to go to Milan central station...to get a train to Lake Como etc! You definitely could not spend the evening here....but it is near the Metro...and you can get to the Dumo in 10 minutes ish!!
