A really convenient hotel for exploring Milan's historic centre and shopping district. The La Scala theater is a stone's throw away. The rooms are nice and clean, although a bit small. The sound insulation in the rooms is not that great, and you keep on getting woken up by sound of footsteps in the corridor.
The staff in the restaurant and reception is nice. There's a decent spread for breakfast and it is accompanined by a live performance on harp or accordeon - really nice.
However, there were some really unpleasant moments as well. We had a really aggressive reaction from housekeeping lady when we asked her to clean our room - the room had not been cleaned for the whole day.
And some things appeared to have disappeared from our bags that were in the room.
So if you plan to stay in this hotel, make sure you lock up everything of value, however small, in a safe in the room.
