“faboulous find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

Beautiful boutique hotel... the room was very comfortable and well appointed, and the service was outstanding. The hotel staff was very helpful, both with directions and with a special request. The breakfast buffet "included in the rate" was excellent, fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, among other choices. The restaurant next door was outstanding. It's well located not only to see the sights (2 blks from Metro, 15 minute walk to the Duomo) but it's also quiet b/c no cars are on the street in front at night.

Stayed here with my wife in September for 1 night. The hotel is only opened a short time,it is designed and decorated beautifully and is in a wonderful location right on the canal. There are many restaurants and bars along the canal, and it is a lovely area for a stroll. No traffic is allowed after 3pm which makes it a very pedestrian friendly area. There is very easy access to the center (duomo)by the no,3 tram, and also easy access to the train to Malpensa airport bythe local metro station. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. This is a real oasis in a busy city and we would certainly return again.

Ditto to all previous 5 star comments. Everything about this hotel is perfect, from the cleanliness, the garden courtyard, the breakfast that's included, the location, the dependable wifi, and the amazing, friendly and helpful staff. We will be returning to Milan next summer and staying at Maison Borella for sure!

We stayed at the hotel for a few days in September, the hotel staff were very friendly & helpful, I had emailed prior to find out the best way from the airport & I was provided with choices of how to get there. The room we stayed in was clean & modern with a high wooden ceiling & overlooking a lovely courtyard, The hotel is set in a great location by the side of the canal with lots of bars in a close proximity. The Duomo is a short tram journey away or a leisurly stroll & a must see, the views from the roof of the city are superb, overall the hotel & location are ideal

This hotel is a rare gem. Firstly it's in a charming location in Milan which is more than can be said for most of the hotels in Milan. The staff are so lovely, kind, professional and can't do enough for you in terms of help, bookings, taxi's sorting things out which they don't have to. The hotel is super clean and the rooms are chic, simple and tasteful. Try to get a room with a little balcony on to the river and watch people go by. The breakfast is great as is the restaurant if you want dinner or visit the many restaurants or bars near by Sit outside by the river if it is warm. I always come to Milan for work and always want to stay here but I would happily pay my own money to come here for a little wkend break. All hotels should visit to see how to treat guests. Almost don't want to give a review because this place needs to stay secret.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a balcony facing the river for charming view and people watching.

The rooms, the staff, the breakfast the services provided, everything wonderful..
The hood is also very interesting. A place to visite besides the centro historico of Milano.
The parking is a little bit expensive but you can find cheaper if you have the time to search.

We stayed there for only one night in June. The room was small but very nice, clean and, despite the vivid neighbourhood (lovely neighbourhood by the way, lots of restaurants, cafes, stores, etc), very quiet.
