“Excellent weekend stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

My cousin and i stayed at this hotel on weekend of 10-12th May 2013, friendly welcome from reception staff, the hotel decor blew us away, so contemporary, the rooms were exceptionally clean and stylishly decorated with beautiful views of the city. Restaurants had a good choice of food and also nice snacks available from the bar(Milo the barman truly loves his job, excellent service) Breakfast was just continental, (not my cup of tea!!) The spa was superb but possibly too many persons used it at the same time, the jacuzzi could only hold 2 persons comfortably. The yard area was a very relaxing in which to chill out with a few cocktails and tapas, luckily we had the weather to go with it, beautiful sunshine. Hotel si a bit of a distance from the centre of Milan but accessible by train. Beware that taxis charge and arm and a leg and the fares are metered!! apart from that, All in all a wonderful experience and yes, we would stay here again.

Room Tip: all rooms are well furnished, clean and very comfortable, higher rooms have best views

The shuttle busses worked fine, if you are busy the location is fine but this hotel is located at a spot where it is impossible to jump back and forth from the city. You have to manage your time and plan your'e schedule. Although sometimes the shuttlebus took over than 40 min to come back from a trip eventhough the trainstation is only 10 min away.. we wondered what kept it away for so long?
We booked a superior room but it was rather small compared to images online. We paid extra for internet, which didn't work 50% of the time. Unnecessary.

Stayed at the The Hub Milano from 26-29th April, it was an amazing stay! All Staff were very friendly and made me feel right at home. Bedroom was beautifuly decorated and beds were very comfortable to sleep in.

There is lots to do in the hotel from socialising and meeting new wonderful people, taking a swim in there breath taking swimming pool, all you need upto date Gym and spa. I recommend the all over body massage! Priced at only 70 euros you will not get that price in uk..

Breakfast: So much to choose from, fry ups to Croissants (yummy) Fresh Orannge Juice and staff are at your service when you need them.

Lunch: Sorry but mine was a bit boring as I always had the same yummy sanswich Prosciutto di Parma & Cheese toasted sanwich and although you do not aske for the they will always bring you a large portion of Nachos heheee.... well worth the money! 7 euros

Dinner: Plenty to choose from, all you select will be very fresh very tasty.

The bar area was very peacful and relaxing and the bar staff again friendly and sorry if I got his name wrong Miguel (Micheal) He is soooo funny and makes the best cocktails ever!!

The only thing that spoilt the peace were a few lager louts from uk lol aaaammmm noooo sooo wrong and embarrasing!!

Also again from uk were a couple who thought they were better than every one else but what the hey thats every where.

If you want to leave the Hotel and do some shopping and site seeing the Shuttle is free and will drop you off at station, tickests are very cheap and trains are easy to get around.

Once you come out of Central station there will be a wonderful suprise infront of you, Cathedral Duomo wow!! you will most probably be there for most of your day as there is plenty to see and do!

Warning!! When ordering at a Restaurant make sure you keep service charge in your head, Margarita Pizza on menue 9 euros, 2 coke zeros 9 euros plus 12 euros service charge... yep I know rip off!!!

Taxi fares close to double on Sundays well thats the excuse I got from hotel to the Cathedral 30 euros.

Apart from that I had a great time and will defo return back to the Hub

Thank you to all at the Hub for making my stay wonderful.

We survived the flight, and the bus ride, and now we've spent two days in Milan. We've been to the city, strolling around for a few hours; and we do think it's beautiful. So many things to see! Especially churches, museums and monuments. More about that, and photos, will come in a later post. This post will be a short review of our current hotel, The Hub.

We absolutely love the hotel, and it's the first during our current European tour that we feel really meets our expectations and standards. The location is a bit outside the city centre, but there's a free 24-hour transfer service to the train station, where you can go to the city centre in less than 20 minutes.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The wi-fi signal is excellent. On the top floor there is a spa, fitness center (with excellent view over the area) and swimming pool, that is free of charge for the hotel's guests.

The Hub is perfect for a one or two-week holiday. The staff is very helpful and you will get all your questions answered! The restaurant offers excellent food, and breakfast as well. Also try the Italian happy hour between 6 PM and 9 PM. It's not the usual 'buy one get one free' as in most parts of the world; here it's 'buy one and eat all the snacks you want'!

In fact there are no disadvantages excluding location which is not in the center for sure, and railway station is about 1.5 km from Hotel and service provide lift beyond that getting to center is easy and fast because of great connection. Really nice room, very comfortable bed and pleasant bathroom. Perfect breakfast and nice pizza.

The facilities in the hotel wasn't bad however the location isn't ideal if you are in town to see the city. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to take guests to and from the closest station however you need to take a train into town then change for another line to get you into the shopping district or anywhere of interest really. There is a spa however its quite small and gets a bit crowded especially for the Jacuzzi. The room was a bit small but was spotless, good size bathroom that was also clean. If you are in Milan for sight seeing I wouldn't recommend as a base but if location isn't a big issue I would say its not the worst place you could stay

Room Tip: The view from my room was just hideous!!! Looking out the window all I could see was what looked lik...
