We had the opportunity to have dinner at Santa Marta as recommended by our hotel. We did have reservations which I understand is helpful as this restaurant can be quite busy. It was a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. We started with the Seafood platter which we shared although there was probably enough for four - there was prawns, scallops, fried fish cakes and calamari with an excellent sauce. I had the seafood spaghetti with the pasta done perfectly and my husband had the chefs special - turbot with potatoes, artichoke and mushrooms with a white sauce. Both were excellent! We had a very nice 2006 montepulciano with our dinner - not inexpensive - 35 euros but very good! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
