This area of Milan sports many, fair-to-good, Erithrean and Ethiopic restaurants. We have eaten here many times over dozens of years.
This time was better than usual. The fact that one of us is a regular patron and acquaintance of the restaurant manager may have helped.
Food was especially rich in flavour, with the different sauces and meat preparations sporting clearly distinguished flavours - more in fact than in any other experience I had had with Erithrean and Ethiopian restaurants. This likely is independent from our escort, since all food is prepared in advance.
Both injera servings and meat and sauce servings were more abundant than usual.
Price was in line with average restaurants in this area of Milan - a bit more than we expected in view of the very simple, casual setting and service.
