“A great stay with a toddler!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of a 6 week trip with a 20 month old. We arrived smelly and exhausted at noon, and were thrilled to find out that our room was ready. I think were given a larger room because of the baby cot which they provided (spotless by the way...). The room was very clean and we loved the little balcony. The only thing that prevented me from giving it a 5 star review would be the street noise was loud even late at night. It is a very pleasant 10-15 minute walk to downtown Stresa, mostly along a a lovely lakeside promenade. The staff were extremely kind and patient with our jetlagged toddler! The pool was small, but clean and very well maintained. We very much enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Stayed with family in this hotel for four nights in August just a 10 mins walk to the main hub of Stressa, the food was good quality (avoid Daniels Bar on the way not good quality) thought the value for money in Stressa very good. The Hotel snack bar was also good value and they didn't rip you off. They were very strict about either leaving oour shoes on the rack and walking through the bacterial bath into swimming pool are or walking through the bath in your flipflops. There were quite a few wasps around the pool my son was stung twice once whilst walking around the pool he trod on a wasp and later that day whilst he was lying on the sunbed he was stung. He wasn't stung anymore times must have been a bad day. The room i thought at first was clean until I found a rusty shaver by the bidet and cobwebs around the side lamp although those little spider could have spun another one after the cleaner had been. The first night they do a turn down service where they leave a little chocolate on your pillow. We had breakfast in the hotel which was cold meat cheese, yogurt either corn flakes or muesli, croissant with an unusual filling nobody liked. bowl of peaches and pineapple. Cake, toast and lots of different jams and preserves (No hot) if you order drinks off piste you will be charged e.g. expresso or a cappuccino (it was Italy) they do do coffee, normal tea, green tea or hot chocolate. Maybe there should have bee covers on the meat and cheese as there were always flies buzzing over these. It does sound like I am doing the hotel down, but apart from this the hotel was very nice there was free wifi in the reception area, parking was 7.50 euro per day. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The hotel room was nice a big with good storage space and a t.v. beds were large and comfortable and good quality sheets and pillow. I would stay again.

Not travelled with Low Cost Holidays before but would do so again. Everything worked well including the excellent taxi sent to collect us to and from the airport.
Hotel has great pool and friendly staff but one issue is the railway that runs behind the hotel (and many others in that area) Best to get a room at the front of the hotel rather than the back but we did actually get used to the noise of the freight trains by the end of the week.

Just back of a week holiday in Stresa. We went to this hotel 3 years ago. The first time we find it very good so we decided to go back again. This time with a boot. The hotel employees have found out everything for us how it works when you have a (large) boot with you. They phoned for us and they helped us several times to organise things. Really perfect ! The hotel employees are very kind and the owner, Cina, is a very kind and service oriented person. In the contrary to other Italian people the employees speak good French, English, German and they even have a dutch speaking person. Great ! Flexibility is very high, good food, rooms have good airco and a nice swimming pool. We advice this hotel to everyone.

Avoid room 205 at all costs. Its a total misrepresentation of what is offered on their web site!
Food very poor

Hotel is quite new and the rooms are quite clean and comfortable. The toilet was very good when compared with many other hotels we had stayed earlier. The location is ideal for shopping as it is just walking distance from Pondy Bazar and Usman street. Only problem is that no menu card is provided in the room and it is very difficult to find out what is available through room service - may be this facility will come up soon.

Stayed in a mountain view room for E90 a night with breakfast included. The breakfast is not the most lavish but adequate. A bit of a long walk into town is a drawback. There is onsight parking and the rooms were large enough. Only complaint is the TV is too small and mounted quite high on the wall. Well worth a return trip. Hotel seems to do mostly tour bus business as one day 3 buses arrived around the same time and the lobby and elevators were jammed.
