Hotel La Paul is possibly the worst hotel i have ever stayed in in my life. It is that bad we checked out after 1 night and lost £200 for the other 2 nights we had booked. We arrived and were shown to our room (cupboard) which believe it or not had no window at all. The bathroom was about a million years old and had dead bugs everywhere. When we told reception we were not happy and would like to move rooms they argued that there was nothing wrong with the room they had put us in!! We checked out after on eextremely uncomfortable night and had to pay for a room in a different hotel also. Lake garda in general hotels are really old fashioned but not in a good way. It is like stepping back in time!! Cleanliness isnt a priority either in most hotels!! Avoid this hotel at all costs it really will spoil your trip!!

i stayed here in this hotel about 5 years ago with my wife.
good place, nice view but we had a problem with the staff.
when i called the hotel for the price of the room tehy told me that the price was per room.
i called again just to be sure ane they confirmed me the same thing.
after my stay, when i was at the desk for payng, they told me that the price was per person and not per room.
i payed for my stay buy i never came back there and i never suggets this hotel to nobody.

Have just returned from a one week holiday to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We found hotel La Paul very comfortable, very welcoming, and the staff very helpful and friendly. My wife is a coeliac and the food provided for her was very good and plenty of it, no problems at all. I also enjoyed the food. The staff provided a special treat for us on our special day. We hope to return to La Paul in the near future. Many thanks for making our stay very enjoyable.

we stayed here in august and found it very pleaant. read some dodgy reviews but were happy with our stay. 15 min walk to center of town.
pool area nice and quiet - except for us! breakfast was good - especially if you got down early. ideal for parking. one tip - make sure you are in la paul and not the sister hotel across the road. overall. i would recomend if you are looking for a pool as many closer to town have no pool.
