“Nice location and clean rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

Stayed here for two nights in September, had a nice quiet room at the rear of the building with our own private bit of garden, the host was very helpful and friendly.
Room was plenty big enough although a little dated, bathroom was set up as wet room which meant everything got wet when you showered, not a massive issue though.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, hotel is around a 20 minute walk to the Sirmione but a pleasant walk it is along the lake.
A two minute walk from the hotel there are a couple of restaurants next to the lake which are both excellent and reasonably priced.
Plenty of parking here also.
I would stay here again if we went back to Sirmione.

We stayed only one night while touring around on the motorbike. The location was good, walking distance to the old town centre, close to the lake. The villa is not the newest, but beside the shower we found it ok. The shower system wets the whole bathroom.... Breakfast was good & staff was friendly.

This was a lovely little 2 star hotel. It's important to note that all hotels are inflated price wise a bit here because of location (we went in August) - this is why I've only given price 3 stars - but in terms of what was available at the time, the price was good (£76 p/n). Sirmione is an absolute must see and the walk along Lake Garda from the hotel is excellent.

The hotel itself is kept well by the owner who is very helpful. She helped me print off my train tickets without any fuss and although limited in English, she helped with anything we asked of her. The rooms were basic and clean - spacious and with a fridge - just what was required. The garden area is nice and breakfast was very good. A decent selection and coffee made to order. I'd definitely go back here if staying in Sirmione again.

The Brecia bus stops just South of the hotel in Colombare. You can get this from Desenzano Train Station. When off the bus, just walk on the left hand side of the road and you'll come to the hotel almost as soon as you see the Lake.

One place to check out is the fruit shop in Colombare high street, the freshest fruit I've seen!

Very nice hotel, well worth the money. Clean and nice attick room, nice balcony with a good view, excellent and tasty breakfast, friendly land lady. The wifi was working well except in the attick. The air conditioning was working well.

Villa Pagoda has excellent location - close to the beach, shops at Sirmione and 15 min walk away from Sirmione castle/old town.
Breakfast was plenty and free parking is main advantages. Room is a bit tiny but enough for staying overnight.

Was just what we needed. Good price (after discount on hotels.se), breakfast included and 2mins to the lake. A/C and free parking were also nice after some bad experiences in other towns/cities. Recommended if you want a base for excursions. Be sure to walk into Sirmione in the evening and wander about. Plenty of good restaurants.

We visited in early spring, so start of the season, and were the only guests, so it felt a bit quiet. We had lovely weather so could make the most of the beautiful garden, and out door area. Only about a 10 minute walk to the supermarket. It is only a one to two minute walk to the lake edge, and some local eating establishments, two of which we tried, and really enjoyed. Only a short drive to go and see the castleRocca Scaligera built in 1277, well worth a visit.
Room. Was good value for money, would be good to have a safe in the room. Nice shower. Smelt a bit musty, probably due to us being the only guests, so place had been shut up.
