So what do you expect from a large restaurant with a large Al Fresco dining area situated on the biggest tourist square in Sirmione old town which all tourists arriving from the Ferry have to walk past ?
This is the type of place which pulls in the tourists by the use of large plastic menu boards and where the locals sit to be seen and to converse with friends and colleagues in the wonderful colourful way that Italians do. And the waiters are highly efficient, but only because they want to get you in and out as quickly as possible.
So don’t come here if you want a quiet romantic meal with personal service.
But for a quick lunch in a noisy colourful surrounding it meets the price of the entry ticket.
I would suggest sticking to the local Pizza or Pasta dishes, i.e. the things they can do well without really trying, and my spaghetti frutti di mare was more than passable.
