We return every year to this area due to its proximity to Motoland (motorcycle racing). After dining at this place we asked to see some rooms and we plan on staying here next time. The prices are excellent, both for the food and the rooms. The portions are quite big and I had trouble finishing my main course. My husband had the foie appetizer followed by the duck breast with peanut satay sauce. Both were very tasty. You could tell that the sauces were made with quality ingredients and with extreme care and attention. My entree was hake stuffed with prawns and other seafood.
The setting was beautiful, only 20 rooms and each one very different. There were lots of cozy areas for a good read or a card game. The gardens looked beautiful. If you are looking for a peaceful refuge with good food and wine, then this is the place for you. I am looking forward to staying there next year.
