“A great experience, would like to return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

We stayed in the hotel during May 2014. It was a wonderful experience. We were upgraded to a large room on first day arrival. We were then changed to our booked room, with splendid view of the lake. The hotel is located on mountain, which is little far from the train station, but you could check the transportation early and take a bus to the hotel. You could also ask if the staff from the hotel could drive you downhill or uphill, from the hotel to the ferry station. He is very nice and friendly.
The distance from the major transportation give you view you could not enjoy from other places.

Breakfast is great experience. You could have it outdoor, with fresh air, view of the lake from high; or in room if it is a raining day, talking with nice staff who bake the cake for you.

We like the hosts a lot - friendly, elegant and always helpful.

We would definitely return if chances permitted.

View-
The view from the hotel of the lake and the mountains is out of this world. I could just sit and look at the view for hours and hours. Its lovely in the day and also at night with the neighbouring towns lit up and the ferries crossing the river.

Location
Its not exactly in the centre of bellagio but just 5 mins drive up the hill. The hotel has a pick up and drop service to the town centre at designated times for a very low price. Outside these times the charge is slightly more but still quite cheap. If you have a car its very convenient because the hotel and the town centre has free parking lots.

Service
Excellent service round the clock.

Rooms
In a good condition even though they are not new. Simple rooms, nothing too fancy but comfortable.

Breakfast
Good buffet with a huge spread. Some people came after breakfast time but the staff was nice enough to extend the buffet time for them

The view is so beautiful that we bought a pizza and wine and had diner on the balcony, even if was a little windy and chilly, it still was very enjoyable.
The room was big and very comfortable, clean .
Parking was available and an easy drive in the area.
Service was very good and friendly, would definitely recommend and would go back. Great choice.

Room Tip: make sure you get a room with lake view.

I've only stayed in this hotel once and it was perfect, the people who own and run the hotel are so helpful and very friendly with very good English.the rooms are great and the breakfast has good variety.the best part of this hotel is the stunning views over Bellagio and the lake. It was a very surreal moment in my life having a drink on my balcony in the peace and quiet looking at the lake and mountains. I would give this hotel 5 stars.

We decided on this hotel for its fantastic views and we were not disappointed. The rooms were simple and comfortable. The bathroom was outdated but this was not a priority of ours and did not effect our experience. The staff could not do enough for my partner and I; even providing gluten free breakfast and dinner for us. The staff were extremely friendly and provided advice on places to go. It was out of town but a nice walk (warning it's hilly!) or transportation supplied by the hotel was available; local restaurants will also provide transportation. We had a room separate from the main building which meant we were not disturbed and a welcome surprise. Opening the window in the morning to views of the lake and mountains was wonderful. Bellagio itself, is more for those that want a quiet break (unless we missed something!). Depending on how you arrive at Lake Como, we suggest looking at suitable car ferries. This is because driving to Bellagio takes time and narrow roads at night make it an interesting journey, especially in a campervan! The hotel is definitely one we recommend.

Very nice hotel with great help from the staff on planning the trip in the near by villages.
The rooms are simple but good. If you get a room facing the lake the view is amazing!
Location - This hotel is on the hill just outside the town in a perfect location if you have a car or willing to take the hotel's shuttle. The town does not have too many parking locations for tourist...
The trip is just a few minutes drive from the city center free parking lot.

We stayed at Il Perlo for only one night, a romantic escape form a boring meeting. What a lovely place. Even in their smallest room the view was outstanding, the food fine, the desk service wonderful. Charming, elegant and not pricey. We can't wait to go back for a week.
