We stayed in Suira on the edge of Bellagio for 10 days and Pub il Tiglio was the highlight. Bellagio is a great base for exploring the Lake, and the Pub is the ideal spot for kicking back with the locals. We didn't speak Italian and there wasn't a lot of English spoken but we were welcomed to play cards (scopa and briscolla), bar football and table tennis. Fabio and his wife spent one afternoon with his iPad helping us plan the rest of our trip.
The pizzas were the best we had in Italy. Belaggio for us was walking all day and taking in the scenario but my fondest memories are laughing with the locals who went out of their way to make us welcome, including the other Fabio, the taxi driver. Thanks guys!
