“Bellagio a little bit of heaven on earth”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

A great hotel on the waterfront at Bellagio. Would have preferred a lake view room. Had to make do with one overlooking a narrow lane way that goes up the hill with lots of little restaurants & shops. This was quite noisy during the day however, this somehow added to the atmosphere of Bellagio. Lovely breakfasts overlooking the lake & there is a rooftop balcony that looks over Lake Como. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants around about with great food & wine. Bellagio is a must visit whilst in Lake Como we had long leisurely lunches on the waterfront & the views are to die for. Be warned this is a popular venue book early.

Room Tip: Book early for a lake view room

It is a 3 star hotel in the best location you can imagine. The rooms are fine for this level of hotel. The service is very friendly and, as everyone else has said, the location is perfect. All of the shops are right next to the hotel and the waterfront is only a few steps away.

Overall, the hotel was everything I had hoped. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location in Bellagio, opposite the passenger ferry terminus. The staff are fantastic, breakfast was good and served in their lake view restaurant. Rooms were well appointed and clean. The access to the Sports club was good. Only criticisms - its aging gracefully and the street side cafe staff are rather abrupt (or just Italian?)

Excellent location with wonderful views. Parking is off site & you are given a map & directions to the garages. You must make a parking reservation.Very friendly service.Rooms are adequate but could use minor work..Excellent breakfast included.Unfortunately I would avoid the upstairs restaurant for dinner.Beautiful view with great service but the food is no better than average in the evening.I would instead go to Silvio for a much better dinner.

This hotel could best be described as having a faded grandeur in a fantastic location. The rooms may not have been updated for awhile but our 3rd floor room with lake view was large and very clean. Being across the road from the passenger ferry was a very welcome bonus after lugging 2 heavy suitcases on and off trains for 11 hours to get here. The hotel has a lift which is also a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful, and small touches like fresh towels twice a day was unusual and unexpected. Breakfast was good, but the location on the terrace looking at the lake every morning would have made me happy no matter what I ate. Rooftop terrace also has stunning views and is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing.

Room Tip: Pay the extra and book a lake view room at the front of the hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights based on the reviews at Tripadvisor. The hotel is listed as a 3 star, and I feel that it is over-rated. It is 2 star at best. Although the hotel was in a great location at the waterfront, the condition of the room given to me (despite the nice Lake view) was poor. The most obvious thing that was substandard for a hotel costing more than 260 Euros a night was the condition of the bathroom. It was so small that the shower curtain clung to the skin while showering. To make things worse, the floor trap next to the tub overflowed with water everytime one showered. The sink also did not have proper space to place toiletries. One has to put items on a stool.

The walls of the room were very thin, and everytime the phone rang next door one can hear it. Noises from people talking loudly also filtered easily through.

We stayed 2 nights, and couldn't get out quickly enough. I would say it spoiled my experience being at such a lovely location.
