“Home sweet home in a stunning location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

We stayed in a single bedroom apartment in late April 2013. The apartment was huge with lounges, big bed and lots of cupboard space. After three weeks of hotels, this was heaven.
The bathroom had lots of shelving to place our toiletries and although the shower recess and screen was a bit quirky and the water pressure a little low, it was OK.
Kitchen had all the necessary requirements.
The in house WiFi was fast.
The best reason to stay here is the superb location, literally only 300 metres from the top of the town. It is only a ten minute walk from the ferry terminal (up a slight hill).
A small grocer/wine/beer shop and green-grocer shop are within 10 min walk.
Bellagio abounds in small boutique shops.
There is a coin-operated laundromat about 14 min walk away.
The owners of the apartment greet you and give you all the information and maps on arrival,
There is a restaurant underneath which we visited a number of times because of its value and quality meals...a 10% discount is given to residents of the apartments.

We couldn't fault the apartment. It was perfect for our stay in what is one of the most scenic and attractive towns in Italy.

The best cafe for coffees is located on the lake side called Cafe Rossi.

The only minor complaint is that in spite of the 30 channels on the TV, there were all in Italian.

To appreciate the beauty and culture of this area of Italy, you need to stay at least 5 days which is why an apartment is so attractive.

I would go back tomorrow...if I could!

Stayed here for two nights, 3rd & 4th of March whilst travelling through Europe. We checked into one of the two bedroom apartments on the top floor. The apartment was flawless and was excellent value for money. The property owners were very accommodating and managed to help us with parking our large 4x4 in a safe and secure place in front of the adjoining property. The apartment was spacious and had access to a wonderful terrace. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished and very central. I would stay here again and would recommend highly to anyone for either a short or long stay in Bellagio.

Bellagio in November is extremely tranquil, and you pretty much have this stunning town to yourself. Many things are closed, but there are just enough restaurants open and there are lovely walks in the area with amazing views. The apartment is very well-equiped and furnished in good taste, and it was a rare treat in Italy to be able to run a bath, which was just what was needed after a long walk on a chilly day. There was a spacious terrace and a small balcony on opposite sides, which would be fab on a summer's day. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and the information in the room about things to do was useful, as we went on a couple of the walkssuggested. All in all a lovely break.

We have recently returned from staying in one of the two bedroom appartments for 3 nights. Our paty included my wife, my two year old son and my parents. The appartment was fantastic and was in a really good location from which to explore Bellagio and the surrounding towns.

We would definitely return to these appartments if we return to bellagio. They are light airy and spacious considering where you are.

My only comment would be that considering the amount of Englisg guests you have, a kettle would be a great addition to the kitchen. My parents were desperate for a cup of tea and boiling water in a saucepan was not the best. But this is a minor point.

We stayed in Romano and Barbara's beautiful and comfortable loft apartment during our children's spring break at the very beginning of the "season" for the Lake Como area. It was a convenient base of operations for us to walk anywhere in the city with a restaurant next door that offers R and B's guests a special deal...and serves french fries on top of one of their pizzas much to my children's delight. We found regular restaurant dining delightful, but our gluten free teen was frustrated dining in Bellagio. Luckily, the pharmacies carry some excellent g-free pasta, and the apartment kitchen was well equipped for a little cooking. We enjoyed breakfasts sitting on our gorgeous balcony. Romano and Barbara were the perfect hosts.

Family of four including 2 kids and we had the loft apartment...it is in a lovely part of town and the only downside is that you have no water view...but that surely comes at a price. Can't fault the 4 days we had, including a nice restaurant at our front door with a discount for those staying here.

We stayed in Villa Rosa which was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and well equipped with our own courtyard, although the sun had left it quite early on. Romano and Barbara are the perfect hosts and were there to greet us on our arrival and are on site for anything you need. They even sorted our transfers from the airport. There is a restaurant next door which was very good and useful on our arrival on the Saturday night. The apartment is well situated and within walking distance of everything. The only niggle is the church bells are next door and ring quite early although they stop at night. Bellagio is the most beautiful place I have been so far and travelling on the boats to all the lovely towns has to be the most relaxing thing to do. No driving, just tranquil trips on the water. I highly recommend Bellagio Taxi Boats and Luca's entertainment!!! The food is all locally sourced and good in all the restaurants. We will definately return.
