“Looks like a historical place...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

...which is hard to live. Very old, but well renovated building. If you love 16th-century buildings and anxios to spend a night there, you'll love that B&B. We've been there at the end of December and it was... Cold. No heater in bathroom, noisy river right behind your window, neighbour's clotheslines, couple-hundred-years walls... Well, at least this place is different from what you'll usualy see. But one thing is to look on old-fashioned buildings, and another thing - to live there..

Room Tip: ask about not noisy one. Make sure you have owner's cellular #!! Place is not easy to find, but...

Stayed for one night before the flight from Bergmano. Had a superior room for EUR 93. The location is ok, a Pizzeria is just around the corner and one restaurant within 3 min. walk. My opinion is that the price is a little bit to high, because the room is very simple, the breakfast is prepared in the evening and left on a tray in the room. The walls are out of paper and it is difficult to park car there - lack of space.
For a price of EUR 60, max EUR 70 for a DBL room it's fine.

Loved this B&B! The rooms were so nice as was the whole building. The rooms had beautiful bathrooms, fridge, kettle and were spacious. It's within walking distance of everything and the breakfast was great. He has an extra option for 3 euro and it is definitely worth it! You get eggs, fantastic cured meat, salami and cheese as well as fruit. Would definitely go back!

Room Tip: Don't try to take the bus from train station, use his pick up service, a taxi or walk from stati...

Absolutly lovely b&b! Location, atmosphere, service - everything is great! The owner is very nice person, he given us some good advises about the city attractions and recommended great place to degustate local food. We also appreciate car service, it was very comfortable and punctually. We would definitly stay there again.

We stayed for 6 days in the hottest august in Italy in years. My only criticism of this lovely old B&B is that only a few rooms have A/C but Paolo, the owner, is undertaking the arduous task of putting A/C in every room over the winter. The location is excellent, walking distance to all amenities and some great restaurants just seconds away, especially Gennaro e Pia's. The rooms are very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast is typical Italian and plentiful. Be sure to try the chocolate in the gelateria next door, it's the best I've ever tasted!
