“Lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

We stayed for three nights with our 14 month old baby. The front desk was very friendly and hospitable. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast buffet was very nice, the bar staff were also very friendly. Very close to the shops for a stroll and restaurants. Lovely place to stay.

We stayed for a Saturday night here in Sept '13 for a weekend visit to Cinque Terre after we couldnt find a room anywhere in the actual Cinque Terre. The staff was very helpful in all things. The room was clean and modern, comfortable. We were 2 adults and a 10 yr old child, so I was not sure what to expect for beds, but was pleased to find a large double bed in the bedroom and a fold out couch in the sitting room, all prepared, which worked fine for a child. Unlike some reviewers, I found the hotel very easily from the train station, which is something like a 10 minute walk away. If you walk through the town center (no cars, pedestrian walkway) once you get close there are even signs posted specifically pointing the way to My One Hotel. The bathroom is small, the shower really small (picking up dropped soap was something of a challenge for a six foot guy). There was a nice breakfast buffet in the morning. The front desk seemed occasionally understaffed so sometimes you might have to wait at the desk. Overall this was a positive experience and I would stay here again if I had to stay in La Spezia again. (But if I was going to Cinque Terre again, I would try and stay in one of the 5 villages there, not in La Spezia, there's really nothing too interesting about La Spezia.)

Stayed here September 3rd, 2013 for one night. Great location, at the top of the hill. Nicely decorated small room, comfy bed, great AC, nice bathroom. Typical tiny Italian shower, plenty of hot water. Central location in La Spezia, very short walk to restaurants & shops. Nice breakfast spread with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, plenty of pastries and fruit, with an espresso bar.
Parking was right outside on the street, and we drove our rental car over to quaint Cinque Terre for a dip in the perfect Mediterranean.
La Spezia is one of my favorite towns in Italy.

Easy to get to from the train station. Good place to stay when exploring cinque terre. Within walking distance to ferry. Great staff, clean rooms, spacious, and good breakfast. Close to shops and outdoor market.

This hotel is not easy to find from the train station and requires a bit of walking as we did. The hotel is tucked behind the "town center" and the outside reminds me of the gray/white stripes you'd find on a prison uniform.
The rooms are VERY small so if you need some space ask for the suite which provides a small 5x5 foot seating area (2 chairs and a desk) and a wall that separates the bed area.
We had a regular room but after two nights asked to be switched to the larger room and paid extra for the breathing space.
The rooms are for the most part sparse but clean.
The inclusive breakfast you get with the room is well done with cereal, fruits, hot cereal, breads, and waffle maker. Juice, milk and coffee are also provided. they do have a Barista there that can make just about anything you'd like which was a treat!
The service staff here are very nice and very helpful! Very accommodating in helping you with any questions or travel information you may need. The elevator here is SLOW beyond words and just when you think it wont arrive and are about to tackle the stairs the doors will open. most occasions we just took to the stairs.

Room Tip: Ask for the suite size if you need some room to move around-especially if you have more than 2 per r...

I spent 2 nights here as a base for exploring Cinque Terre. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good with a reasonable selection. Location was great, easy walk to the train station.

I've stayed in this hotel in august 2013. It is a little bit difficult to find this hotel in La Spezia for the first time, but it is in great location close to the centre of the town with good access to railway station and port.
Great room cleaned every day, the shower is a little bit small but ok! (A little incident at the beginning of our staying in this hotel because the bathroom was not properly cleaned)
Continental breakfast with lots of choices, very kind and helpful staff.
In La Spezia i kindly recommend the restaurants:Antica Osteria Dell Uva and Trattoria La Nuova Spezia.
We have chosen La Spezia like a starting point to visit Cinque Terre and it was fabulous. I also recommend a trip by boat to Cinque Terre starting from La Spezia port.

Room Tip: I recommend only 6&7 floor for a nicer view.
