This hotel is very nice. Good location, great rooms and service, overall good value for money. There is also a nice bar in a hotel with excellent "aperitivi" and snacks. All these great reviews on Tripadvisor are correct.

Wow this place sets the bar in Genova. I have been to other hotels in the area and this is the best hotel in the city. Very clean upscale hotel with excellent restaurant setting. Service was excellent and respected. Clean rooms and great views.

The atmosphere and decor of this hotel were excellent and the room and bathroom, were very well furnished. However there were some disadvantages, the very large television was slow to change channels and reception was poor and its main purpose seemed to be to sell subscription services. Wi fi in rooms was expensive except for a limited period and one had the inconvenience of moving to the lobby for free wi fi. Although the hotel looks quite close to the station the topography means that it is not really feasible on foot so one is reliant on a not very frequent bus service. The reception had no information on publc transport or tourist passes. As this is classified as a 5 star hotel you are required to pay a 3 Euro per night per person tax, not included in the hotel tariff If you get a budget deal this can make a substantial difference to the amount paid.

A top quality hotel, highly recommented, with an extremely kind and efficient personell and top level services. At a walking distance from the centre in a nice and quite area. The only flaws/weaknesses I experienced were:
1) within the context of a great breakfast buffet an ordinary cappucino. It tasted like a cappuccino not prepared with a high quality coffee mashine.
2) wifi should be free of charge like in most countries and top quality hotels. It is already a basic service.
3) I stayed there only for one night (at the second floor) and it was Friday night, so the sound of the bar/disco at the ground floor was quite high. I don't know how it is on "normal" days, but it was a bit too loud (relatively speaking) for my taste.
In a top class hotel these three aspects - which might not be a problem in a lower class hotel - should not arise. This does not impede me to go there again, when in Genoa.
