“Wonderful views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

A glorious walk along the coast of the Ligurian Sea. Beautiful views of rocky inlets and dotted with cafes to pause at. Is a little hilly at times but the central section near the train station is fairly flat.

“A Great Stroll with Beautiful Views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

We took the train to Genoa Nervi from the Principe Station, for which journey you can use an easily purchased AMT pass, which seems to cover all local public transport, except the Airport Bus.
The Nervi station is effectively half way along the Passeggiata, so we turned eastward and walked to the end, which was in itself a nice little village beach area, and then walked back all the way to the westward end, from where we simply caught a Bus 15 to visit Boccadasse.
The coastal views can only be described as beautiful, with the broad pavement being easy and well maintained, with good railings to guard the cliff edges. There's also plenty of nice cafes and bars along the route, if the mood takes you.
We would have rated the Passeggiata as being Excellent, but have marked it down slightly because there are a few disused attractions along it that haven't been maintained, or at least kept tidy.
That said, do go - its all very Italian, and a great experience.

“Nice View”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

Traveling by train from Genoa (morning), we expected for something more attractive. Indeed, nice sights, interesting geological cliffs and beaches, but both of us were disappointed. Nothing special, we've seen much nicer places, considering it as a waste of time.

“Perfect Sunday stroll”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

A purpose made 2km coastal walkway from Nervi to Capolungo. Beautiful views and plenty of places to stop for a drink or some food. Perfect for a Sunday stroll with all the local people.

“Glorious coastal walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

stunning coastline in glorious sunshine! Sad that the botanical gardens were closed and the whole area is slightly run down. However it adds to its charms! It was great to see all the Italians swimming from the rocks and bays with quaint beach huts. a few cafes to stop and watch the world go by. We bought some fantastic foccacia from a bakery near the railway station and sat on the promenade in the sunshine enjoying the view and wonderful smell of mimosa. Well worth taking the train a few stops out of Genoa...not many railway stations in the world with a view like this!!
