“Tastey food on the go.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2011

We found this place in the Rick Steves guidebook and we were glad we did. It’s a take out place with no seating, which is perfect if you want to have a pick nick or pick something up quickly before catching your train. We had the gnocchi with pesto, lasagna alla Bolognese, and a quarter roasted chicken. It was a little oily, but other than that it’s the type of food you’d imagine an italian mother making.

“Inexpensive, good food, good variety”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2011

We often stopped here for dinner and took it to our apartment in Riomaggiore. We had lots of choices for food (my favorite was the spaghetti). It was quick, and the folks working there were very nice. We saved a lot of money by eating here!

“Easy to miss but worth finding it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2011

This little, out-of-the-way stop for fresh focaccia pizza was fabulous. We got an assortment of the varieties offered and went back for more. Don't miss the pesto pizza or the margherita pizza...out of this world! A great grab-and-go stop!

“The gnocchi al pesto of my dreams”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2011

I tried the pesto and bolognese lasagna here, along with the margherita pizza, and while those things would just be three stars or so, the gnocchi al pesto was perfect - perfectly little chewy potato/flour pillows of goodness slathered in pesto. This area is the birthplace of pesto, and imitators have nothing on them. This is a take-out place only, but we snagged some pesto gnocchi and took it to our apartment terrace overlooking the ocean to eat - best dining experience in Italy.

“Great, cheap pizza in Riomaggore!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2011

This place was great! Its like the little-hole-in-the-wall places here in the states. Walk up counter with delicious pizza and foccacia. We took a salumi picante (pepperoni) pizza and a coke back to our hotel balcony for dinner one night for less than 10 euro! We still talk about how good this pizza was almost a year later. Do yourself a favor and stop for a quick, sheap, DELICIOUS piece of pizza here!
