“Best B&B service ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Tucked away on a quiet side street/alley off the busy main drag, The Enchanted Garden is a relaxing spot. Breakfast is served across the alley in a lovely enclosed secret garden loaded with lemon trees and hydrangeas. When it rained one morning, we were served in our room. And such service! We'd go to breakfast (cooked to our order placed the afternoon before), which was beautifully served at our own private table, and by the time we returned to our room, the bed was made and fresh towels were in place. The room came with a basket of fruit - replenished each day. The complimentary mini-bar had everything from juice to soft drinks to water to beer. Fausto and Mariapia make their guests truly feel like VIPs. I've stayed in many B&Bs over the years, but none with this kind of over-the-top service.

Fausto and Mariapia have a beautiful B&B on a narrow and quiet side street of Monterosso. Breakfast is served in a walled garden area meticulously maintained. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating, rendering brilliant service but never in your way. A truly great experience in magical Cinque Terre.

Very nice rooms, very clean, owner was very helpful, and loved the breakfast spot in our own isolated garden amongst lemon trees.

Also free home-made lemoncello whenever you like is a nice touch!

Highly recommended

All the other glowing reviews say it all, such a fantastic place to stay with very beautiful people. The staff are so attentive and kind. There are so many excellent little touches. Fausto and Mariapia will make sure they see you at least once a day to make sure everything is OK.

Great location not too far from train station with some excellent restuarants near by. Fausto will tell you which ones. The family run place around the corner is a must.

Make sure you go to the deli near the post office and grab some delicious meats, cheese, olives. Take some of the many drinks from your free mini bar or buy some wine, go and sit by the water, enjoy the view and watch the world go by.

It is a little bit more expensive than other accomodations but other reviewers have already mentioned the long list, this place has everything you need and worth it!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great. The Golden Suite if you want more room and a very comfortable sofa to relax...

You will NEVER stay in a better B&B !
The hospitality and friendliness of the owners (Fausto and Mariapia) and staff is fantastic. All have excellent 'customer service ' skills.
There are four rooms - each of a different design but all of exceptional quality.
The furnishings and linen are excellent. The rooms have all a traveller would need: extra pillows, beach towels, bathroom products, (free)mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, retractable clothes line in bathroom, fresh fruit daily- the list goes on!. This B&B is located in the older part of Monterosso . It is an easy walk from the station. There are many restaurants nearby but the hotel is located in a quiet walkway just off the Main Street. Breakfast (anything you want) is served in a delightful garden. If the weather is fine, you can sit there and have a wine and a quiet chat.

The stay here was absolutely wonderful. The owners were very friendly and only too willing to please us. Our room was beautiful, it came with a free minibar and fresh fruit daily. Breakfast was served in their beautiful garden. Since I am on a gluten free diet they had several products for me and even goat cheese. The bed was very hard. Monterosso is beautiful and so are the surrounding villages. It is a very romantic place.

Room Tip: I believe all the rooms are beautiful and kept clean. Our room was called Hibiscus.

We stayed here one night after our hike through the Cinque Terre. It was super cute, had a BEAUTIFUL lemon and flower garden and very nice owners. I recommend this hotel for sure, but you can likely find something a bit more cost effective if you're not planning on spending a lot of time indoors :)

Room Tip: We stayed in the Golden Room - it was the only place in the town that could sleep 3 comfortably!
