This place was a pleasant surprise on a little side street heading up hill through the shops from the church in old town.
After five weeks in Italy and overdosed on panini and pasta, this place was a lovely fresh alternative from the multitude of ristorante and pasticeria.
It has a very small selection of options, but they look fantastic. We ordered two kinds of salad (spelt, tomato and mozzarella in one and a mixed salad for the other) an both were so fresh and delicious. At €13 for two people with drinks, we thought it was pretty good value.
The service was good, but don't expect a full sit-down meal. Inside is basically a servery, but they will give you place mats and cutlery if you want to sit at the tables on the deck directly outside. Sitting outside was lovely and shaded, plus slightly away from the main tourist track so a little quieter too.
In addition to the salads, they had a selection of other vegetable options, plus a couple of nice looking pasta dishes and a couple of seafood options too. Their sign said fresh panini as well but were were quite late for lunch and I didn't see any the day we were there.
Everything looked so nice we might even drop by for dinner too.
