There are just three rooms, and we got the one with the best view, which was directly to the beach and sea. The other two rooms may not have as perfect view so inquire.
However, the rooms are beautiful, well-decorated in an old graceful building just steps from the train station. Don't worry there is no noise from the train. The bathroom is beautiful too, with a very big shower.
Andrea, the proprietor met us at the train, to make sure we got there. Breakfast was very good too, although coffee/espresso came out of a machine, which was not quite up to Italian restaurant standards. The server simply stopped at a local bakery each morning and picked up some fresh bread and croissants, to supplement the usual yogurt and juice offerings. The rooms are two floors up from the street, so there are stairs. Also there is some noise from strollers on the promenade at night, and the Ligurian sea. All in all a very beautiful choice, which I lucked into because the more popular places were all booked. thank goodness.
One more thing: I think Monterosso is the best choice for Cinque Terre if you want any swimming. It has a beach. The others do not.
