The hotel itself was not bad, however, the map they provided was terrible and even locals had trouble directing us. If you stay here make sure you have very good directions!

I can't say enough about this beautiful B&B. The rooms are elegant and beautifully decorated. Everything in the place is first-class. The staff, including Carlo, could not be nicer. Once you get here, you will not want to leave.

The hotel is set on the side of the mountain, overlooking Levanto and the sea (you have to ask for a room with a view, because all of them do not face the sea). It has a sunny, scenic deck with incredible views where they serve up the best breakfast - eggs cooked to order, frittata, freshly baked fruit tarts, ham, salami, pastries, etc.

It is a ten minute, twisting and winding ride to the beach, so you will need a car. But you will not be disappointed. The setting is great, the surrounding area beautiful, and the price is right. In fact, as with our family, it may end up being your favorite destination.

Located 5 miles from the town of Levanto (with restaurants, shops, markets, train station), this little B&B was charming. The breakfast was extra special due to all the homemade treats! There was no AC but a fan was provided. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom smelled a bit of septic tank at times, but only during our last 2 days. The view from the patio was breathtaking! There was a parking lot nearby but overall the location posed a difficulty for moving baggage as the "driveway" to the b&b itself was extremely steep. Carlo, our host, was gracious enough to assist. We would highly recommend to honeymooners and families w/minimal luggage.

First of all, it's one of the most beautiful places on earth. The B&B is located in a medieval village on top of a mountain overlooking the village of Levanto and the sea. The views are magnificent. Breakfast, which is a work of art in itself, is served on the terrace. All the food is elegant and homemade. Cecilia makes capucinos to order. The drive down to Levanto can be a bit of a challenge for those unfamiliar with Italian roads, but the beach is glorious, the fish and wine divine and the gelato unequalled. We had the most memorable - and reasonable -meal of our two weeks in Italy at a little place on the other side of the mountain, arranged for us by Cecilia's assistant.
