This place is located about 1/2 km (1/3mile) off the coast of Trieste's downtown.
While the restaurant offers free transportation, you don't necessarily need to go there for lunch, you can just go for coffee or simply take your towel and lounge catching as much sun as you can.
Food is standard regional fare with lots of seafood with a view to choose (either with a post card view of the Adriatic sea or Trieste's downtown and derelict -and full of charm- harbor).
While some of our seafood was lightly cooked (a problem for some of my co-visitors), in my book food was good enough for a place where location is what matters.
Be ready to stick to the restaurant kitchen schedules (the coffee-bar is open much longer), so get there in time and order fast.
I was there for lunch and I can only imagine how beautiful the place is at night.
Definitely a must in Trieste!!!!
