We went to Trieste in the middle of a Italy-Croatia trip, decided to stay during 2 nights to relax and recover energy before starting the second part: Croatia! (There are buses to several cities in Croatia). We couldn't have made a better choice!!!!the bed was fantastic, the room was very quiet, quiet and the shower was excellent!! The hotel is located in front of the pier and you can have a very beautiful view. The breakfast is served at a big room at the lobby with fruits, cereals, juices, breads etc. well, very good choice!!!

We spent a wonderful three days at the Savoia with our 7 yr old boy and small dog. The staf. Was terrific to us, my son and the dog. Great food, nice breakfast buffet. Very, very clean and really nice rooms. We had a view of the bay. Location is ideal.right off the main piazza and walking distance to most shopping and attractions.

On the water front adjacent to the stunning Piazza Unita D'Italia. Friendly staff, although somewhat hit & miss at breakfast. We had a suite with views across the bay, well refurbished, huge bathroom, very comfy bed and nice Etro toileteries which were generously replaced daily.
Had to argue for free WifI which was quoted in the room.

Great hotel, just by the sea -- old place very nicely renovated and bringing a touch of modernity to this classical palace. Get a room on the sea side - beautiful vue in the morning, even so you can not sleep with open windows due to the noise. Excellent service, as expected in this kind od property; only slight criticism would be related to the breakfast - good, but would benefit from a bit larger choice.

Anyhow, The place to stay at when in Trieste. Last hint - instead of song 23 eur per day valet parking, just park the car yourself a across from the hotel, faster and less expensive.
