“First impression about Rimini is amazing mainly because of the very friendly hotel Plaza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2011

We have stayed 14 days with my husband in the Hotel Plaza (July, 17-30). The whole impression from the hotel and city is amazing.
Location - 1 minute from the seashore, 15 minutes from the town's centre.
Rooms - well organized furniture placement with air conditioning, TV, safe, ventilator. And the biggest advantage is beautiful sea view from the balcony.
Cuisine - if you want to try the various Italian cuisine so the best choice is Fullboard or Halfboard in this hotel. Pasta, Pizza, Dishes from the Head Cook, tasty desserts.
Service - all the requests are sorted out immediately. The hotel team is professional and hospitable.
So in my conclusion I would like to say that hotel Plaza is very good value for money. We've do enjoed our holiday and without any doubt will recommend the Hotel Plaza to all our friends and relatives.

The hotel is in an excellent location only 5 minutes away from the airport by taxi ( 17euro a bit steep ) no aircraft noise noticed during our stay. and opposite beach 125 of 250 sections and only 1euro on the bus to Rimini Old town. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the furniture not worn ,the bedroom was a fairly generous size, comfy beds, nice clean linen, a nice sized balcony with chairs and a view to the sea on one side and a view of San Marino in the distance on the other side. A good forcefull shower good clean towels daily . Breakfast is continental also with scrambled or boiled egg and bacon , you can eat what you like. . For the price you pay for this hotel I don't think you would find anything better . The free bicycles are fun and useful.
Gianni and his family really are the best hoteliers we have met nothing at all is any trouble to them and the customer does come first here. Thanks once again Gianni for your hospitality.

Room Tip: ask for sea view

Just arrived back from a three night stay in Rimini. Chose this hotel as a result of reading reviews on this website and was not disappointed. The hotel was only a quarter full as it was the end of the season and there were no meals available other than breakfast but we were greeted warmly .Our room was small but spotless. The hotel has been recently refurbished and everything looked very fresh. The room had a small balcony with a sea view ( just), and a small, ensuite bathrooom. The only drawback was the hard mattress on the bed which will not appeal to everyone.
Breakfast was included and for 39 euros a night for the room represented excellent value. The location was ideal, halfway between Rimini and Riccione, but only 50m from the beach. It is also very close to the airport- we walked. The no11 bus runs all the way along the promenade and tickets are availble at the hotel. There is a large number of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity.
A nice touch- when I checked out and paid the bill the owner, who speaks excellent English- said we did not need to vacate the room and could use it until we left for our 3pm flight.

we stayed here for 4 nights it was a bargain at £136 and breakfast included , they were very freindly and very helpful, it was very quiet at this time of the year but we still found plenty to do a visit to San Marino is a must. I loved this hotel and would highly recommed it if you were planning a visit to Rimini.

We had a lovely 4 night stay in Hotel Plaza, the food was excellent with lots to choose from, and everything is freshly cooked. The room was clean and our balconey had a sea view. Gianni and his wife were very pleasant as were all the staff. After touring around Venice and Ravenna this was the relaxing part of our holiday. The hotel is about 50m from the beach, the sea is shallow for up to 70m out. The beach is lovely, however the sun loungers and umbrella prices changed each day and instead of a price decrease each day there was a price INCREASE.............Think one should bargain from day 1 with these sharks!. We also visited San Marino which was pretty.

We visited for 5 days in late September, and quite a few shops and restaurants were closed. The hotel is only 50 yards from the biggest, cleanest beach I have ever seen, and 15 minutes bus ride away from the main centre. If you turn left out of the hotel, then left again at he first main road, there is a Co-op about 200 yards down the road on your right hand side. It is well worth getting a few bottles for your fridge because the local bar prices are quite expensive.
First impressions of the hotel were it was a bit dated and it wasn't very homely. However, it was spotlessly clean and the management and staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They let us borrow an iron, towels for the beach, offered us bikes and were very informative when we were planning our days out. We did stay for dinner on one night due the Trip advisor reviews, but we were a little disappointed because there wasn't much of an atmosphere in the dining room and the food was OK, but nothing special. We had breakfast every day, it was excellent and there was loads of choice.
Make sure you visit San Marino because this is a great day out and the views are spectacular.
All in all, I would definitely go back to Rimini a little earlier in the season, and I would definitely go back to the Hotel Plaza.

nice hotel with friendly and very helpful staff; the food is great, very diversified and tasty.
the hotel is close to the beach, a little far from the city downtown but you can use the free bikes from the hotel to reach the center of the town.
The rooms are little but cosy and clean.
We were very content with the choice we made, good value for money.
