My husband and I stayed here for a few days in February 07 and thought it was good value. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were fine - nothing special and a little on the small side - but clean with individual balconies and Sky which was handy when back at the room getting ready for a night out!
We were able to park free in the hotel's parking lot, but this was very poorly sign posted so we had to do a bit of hunting for the entrance despite getting directions from the front desk! But the location was great - just a block up from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the centre of town.
Breakfast consisted of a pretty large buffet selection with the usual suspects - cereal, cold meat and cheese, breads and pastries, fruit, etc. - but the hot food (eggs, bacon and sausage), always seemed to look like it had been sitting around for awhile regardless of what time we came down for breakfast! However, the waitress was happy to get us fresh stuff from the kitchen made to order and also brought us fresh cappucinos (the coffee that was sitting out looked old and gloopy).
All in all, good value for money, although I did wonder if we would feel the same if we were there in the peak of tourist season when the prices, I'm sure, go up significantly - it was a nice hotel, but not spectacular. There is a lot of competition nearby, but this was certainly a good choice when we were there.
