The staff can not speak english not even german, only italian. They were nice and helpful.The café was horrible, the breakfast was poor. Our room was clean, and the Lobby too. We haven't had hand shower and it was hard to wash my little girl in the evening. There were a party the Day we arrived ( after 16 hours of diving) so we couldn't sleep too much.

Stayed here for 3 days to see the sights. It is a little out of town in the industrial zone and therefore has a lot of lorry drivers as customers in the week, and young families at the weekend who go to the beach during the day and then flop at night. This is not a hotel for a romantic weekend but the service is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the fully equipped. But the meals in the evening are unbeatable, 11 Euros for pasta/ main course with veg/ fruit/ wine /water/coffee, with a choice of at least 5 different things and huge portions. Don't expect luxury here but very fair priced friendly hotel with good cooking to unwind at the end of the day.

We have booked this hotel in a hurry, just to stay for one night on our way home and to visit Ravenna. Location was good, quite close to the center (if you travel by car) and very easy to find. Also the free parking was very comfortable. The receptionists were extreamly nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was ok, with some bread, ham and cheese, not only sweet croissants. There were no fruits and vegetables but coffee was acceptable. The room we had was really clean, though the furniture was rather old and the batroom poorly designed (long but very narrow). The main problem was the noise in the room. The air condition was old, very loud and unsufficient. When I tried to open the window there was a noise from the street. Finally some machines (probably some kind of heat exchangers) were producing constant and annoying sound that wouldn't allow to sleep. Generally I can say that the hotel itself is avarage but people working there are great.

My partner bought an online deal for a 2 nights stay at Akross Hotel where we stayed while on our way to Venice. After that stay, we just didn't know what to say - it was everything we had hoped it was not! We checked out a few rooms - and they finally offered us their version of "suite" room. The tiles near the bath-tub was cracked, the room had a musky smell, you can hear people walking along the corridor so clearly and the free breakfast? :(

If you can afford another hotel, do so. If not, just go back to the hotel for shower and sleep, like we did - as we were out the whole day.
