We tried to eat here on a Saturday evening - no chance! Fully booked! That's a recommendation in itself (seconding the one from our B&B hostess) so we booked for the next day which happened to be Italy's Mother's Day! After we booked, and before we wandered off to find a pizza, we were offered, and enjoyed, a glass of Prosecco with the chef/patron - a delightful guy. Lunch the next day was all we hoped it would be. There was a set menu of 5 or 6 courses, from which you could select as many as you wanted or have the whole shebang at a reduced rate. Being lightweights in the eating department, we selected only 2 courses. The sea bream was beautifully cooked and presented and the puddings home-made (as you'd expect) and utterly delicious. We saw most of the other dishes on their way to other tables and they all looked fabulous. The wine list seems to feature Italian white wines - if the Sauvignon from the Alta Adige (14€) is anything to go by, the list is well-chosen and very good value. The decor is different and interesting and the staff delightful. We'd go back!
