After a day at a local theme park, Mirabilandia, we checked in at this Holiday Inn. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere when we pulled into the car park, however we were pleasantly surprised once inside at the warm welcome we received and the lovely room we had (although a little on the small side)
As we were tired after a long day rollercoastering we decided to eat in the hotel. We went down beforehand to make a booking and waited a while for a member of staff to become visible to even make the booking. This did make us question whether we were doing the right thing by staying in but we were not disappointed! The food and wine was lovely.
After the meal we went for a few drinks in the small hotel bar, however we found the bar service to be lacking and there was a lot of waiting round for someone to even appear to serve us!
A blip in an otherwise adequate Holiday Inn.

My husband and I stayed there for one night at weekend. The hotel is brand new and it surely shows an excellent international standard. Bright lobby, modern bedrooms, extra confortable beds, refined bathrooms with all nice amenities like slippers, international magazines, complimentary sparkling and still water and so on (plus the "have you forgetten something just ask" option). Ideal for both business and leisure. Only one spot: elevators are extremely SLOW and two of them are not enough when the hotel is overcrowded as it was during our stay. It means waiting for several minutes before getting a free one and then stopping many times on your way up or down. Breakfast is ok but not great. I would be back anyway.

We spent 2 nights here when visiting the old city to see the mosaic sights. We were upgraded to a junior suite on arrival and it was large and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. Free shuttle bus to the city and they came and picked us up in the afternoon when we phoned. The restaurant wasn't great but typical of its kind and we didn't expect anything different. The only problem with the room was the air conditioning which seemed to be stuck on warm. This is a common problem in Italy and is probably to do with the cost of electricity and Govt regulation. It was a god choice for our visit and saved the hassles of a car in the old city.

Good hotel, stayed with kids, friendly staff lots of parking, very confortable
