“A quiet break”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

This was not the Italian garden I expected but it was a quiet place to relax and stay cool. If you are a fan of Toscanini, his birth place is just around the corner and houses a museum in his honor.

“Great Pond and Great Space”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

Great park to picnic, go for a run or walk, visit the ducks, geese and turtles in the pond. Not far from city center. Has a small eatery/cafe in the center.

“did you know what NAUMACHIA is?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2012

in this incredible park, in the 18th century they had created a vast pond, very very large, and they used it -amongst other uses- to perform Naumachias, i.e. naval battles to entertain the spectators; nowadays, plenty of enormous fish and small turtles smim in the basin;

“Beautiful Park Offers a Quiet Respite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2012

An easy walk from my hotel took me across the river to a large green park covered in trees in a formal garden layout. Many locals were enjoying the quiet setting, napping, playing with their children and listening to the birds. Lovely!
