The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the local bus stops right outside the double room was smaller than most single rooms I have stayed in and was quite dirty with marks all over the walls, a shower cubicle that leaked , 1 small lift serviceing all rooms the only stairs being the external fire escape ait con unit very feeble. No bar, restaurant serve breakfast onlyand the nearest place to eat is the local Mcdonalds.told by staff city was 5 min walk was actually a 15 min bus ride. all together not a pleasant place will not stay again.

Hotel is average all around. It's OK if you're planning to stay 1 night, or if you are staying there on business (except if your business required Internet connection). Rooms are OK size, clean; large bathroom, new appliances, smells so bad - even air-fresh spay was no help... Shower stall is very small, but the worst part is - it fills with water seconds after you turn on the shower.
Breakfast was good, great coffee; Very small parking lot - there is not enough room on their parking lot to accommodate all guests, so we were offered to park on a street, or near small stadium around the corner...
Internet connection is almost non-existent. Staff are very helpful, nice pleasant people, really trying to make your stay there as comfortable as possible.
As I said - it was OK for 1 night (except for clogged shower), but I would not recommend for a longer stay.

Frankly, this hotel was grubby.

A little scum on the shower I could cope with, but the door handle hanging off the door in the bathroom and dirty walls all gave the impression that the management couldn't care less.

This coupled with the tiles on the bedroom floor gave the distinct impression of sleeping in a public convenience.

All this with the surly waitress at breakfast (and a meagre breakfast it was too) and you have a complete package of disappointment.

Please don't think I'm a reviewer that wants flowers and chocolates and then gets shirty when it's not there, but basic courtesy and a good state of repair is surely not too much to ask.

The one good point was the night receptionist who couldn't do more to help us.

This is a basic hotel with all the features you would expect from good quality, budget accomodation. Perfect for a one night stopover at a good price.

Check in was very professional and the duty manager spoke good English. There were no problems moving us to another room when we decided we didn't want the one which fronted a first floor passageway.

The bathroom was ok - a strong shower and not too small.
The room provides bed, TV, minibar, small safe and wardrobe.
Don't expect a view unless you like light industrial.

Breakfast was good without being memorable and you wouldn't want to arrive in the breakfast room too late as the staff start packing things away fairly quickly.

The hotel is located just outside of the main part of the city of Parma and is a short walk to the stazione (very convenient) and a solid 20 minute walk to the centre of town - which was buzzing in some streets and dead in others (Thursday night). You can walk to a good range of restaurants if you are prepared for a 30 minute brisk stroll.

Free parking is definite advantage but the best feature of this hotel is the price - good value.
