I was extremely impressed by this hotel. Managed to get a really good rate through Asiarooms and so was shocked by the high standard of the hotel on arrival. The room was very generous in size and very modern in decoration. The bed was probably the most impressive thing about the room - King size - and at no extra cost. The bathroom was large and had a really nice walk-in shower. The whole hotel was very clean & the staff pleasant. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of options and food was of a high standard. The location of the hotel isn't perfect, although it's only a pleasant 10 minute walk into Bologna city centre, so didn't cause us any bother getting into the centre. Would definitely come here again, although wouldn't be willing to pay the hotels price for the rooms (from €280 per room). Much cheaper rates can be found on the Net.

In April my husband and I went 2 days in Bologna.
We stayed in Golden Tulip Aemilia hotel.
We booked a junior suite.
The hotel was new (it opened in 2003/2004).

The location was closed to cente and for us was perfect because we went in Bologna by car.
The hotel had garage.

The room was nice.
The breakfast was good and there was a lot of food.
The hotel was cleaned.

The problem was this:
1) in the bathroom shower broken and leakage of water.
2) in the room during the night there was a big noise made by ventilation system probably not working properly.

Considering that this hotel is new this is very strange.
When we come back home, we wrote to hotel’s. We complained about the problems we had, but we didn’t receive any answer.

Simply outstanding

Excellent very clean room , spacious only a 10 minute walk to city centre.

Safe district, staff very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast is excellent and well above average. For E99 a GREAT find.

Booked for an overnight stay in Bologne. Paid only 99 euros and got a superior room. Great location, only 10mins walk to the center of this stunning city. Spotlessly clean, super comfy bed, nice toiletries and lovely jucuzzi bath. Had great views from the 6th floor and had a very peacefull nights sleep. Breakfast was good, had eggs and bacon as well which was a nice change to just the usual croissant and danish. Would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and comfortable stay in a great city.
