“Executive Hotel”

We had a very pleasant weekend at the Executive Hotel. It is located a mile ot two out of the city centre and the surroundings are not particularly special but by no means bad. The compensations are low rates, a very clean, spacious room, satellite TV with hundreds of channels, friendly,helpful staff and a fairly frequent no. 25 bus to take you into the historic and very attractive city centre.

Another bonus is the nearby Snoopy Pizzeria. We chose to eat there because it was recommended by the hotel, and there is not that much choice in the area however the recommendation was well founded. The food was excellent, reasonably priced and the waiter spoke English which is a plus.

I recommend both the hotel and the pizzeria to anyone visiting Bologna.

We stayed here for a long weekend and I was not dissapointed with this Hotel. Its nothing to look at from the outside being on the end of a residential appartment block which is down a quite side street but we found it great value for money. The rooms were modern very clean and the bathroom was lovely. The other good points about this hotel were the really friendly staff and the great breakfast.

The only critisism is that it is a bit out of the way and there did not seem to be many restaurants within easy walking distance however there was a bus stop at the end of the street and the busses ran until midnight so we tended to catch a bus into the center of Bologna.
