“Girls trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2014

This was a fab hotel for our mini break as it was so central!
The breakfast was good and room spotless. Taxi only €20 ( that was including tip ) from airport. Everything within walking distance. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again .

This hotel has seen better days, while very conveniently located and close to nice restaurants, this hotel is terrible. I have seen two rooms. Both rooms were small. The shower cubicle in the first room was so small that there was no way I could fit in it. I have immediately asked to change room. They very kindly accepted to move me to another room (I must stress that the staff was very friendly and polite). However, although the cubicle was slightly larger in the new room, the room was not much better. It was small, the tv did not work and the paint from the bathroom walls was falling off the walls which were black of mold. The internet is free but one constantly has to ask for a new password. Breakfast is simple and not particularly interesting with very little options. The air conditioning in the room was not very powerful and would not be sufficient in summer.

Room Tip: Pick another hotel.

Good position, easy walk along colonnades into the centre, also easy walk to the station.Next to the hotel is a large market, makes for some interesting shopping, but very noisy when they set up early in the morning. This hotel is probably due for a refit, it is looking a little jaded. Rooms a little on the small side, breakfast OK, for our last 2 days we were sent next door to Tre Vecchi (same hotel group) for breakfast, it was much better.

Room Tip: If you sleep with windows open, avoid overlooking the market area

This hotel was decided based on location and price.. It wasn't awful but it wasn't brilliant either.. The bathroom was so small If you had the shower screen closed you could not sit on the toilet (and I am a smaller framed lady) .. also it looked a little grubby (mould and broken screen) free 1 hour wifi a day was fine.. quite noisy in the front rooms esp over the weekend..

this was one of the worst hotels i have stayed in
it was booked as part of a business trip - via an agency, they must pay the agency well !!
The room was the size of a jail cell
The room was dirty, and hot.
The bathroom, you can use the toilet, wash your hands and shower - without moving!
Toilet seat broken, exposed electrical wires, above the sink, the shower didn't drain and flooded the bathroom
Oh the Aircon - was like a small aircraft taking off !!

Simples - checked out and went to the recommended Hotel Porta San Mamolo - which is recommended !!!

Room Tip: Booking another hotel !!!

Located half-way from the main train station and the main piazza, which was great. The room was small and basic, the bathroom, tiny tiny. Everything was clean though. Staff were okay, one receptionist in particular was lovely but the others were a bit unfriendly. We had to take breakfast in the adjoining 4 star hotel, it wasn't great. Overall, a functional central hotel.

Pros:
Located at 5min walking distance from the Piazza Magiore.
Attentive personnel

Cons:
Double room was small. Almost no space to walk around the bed.
Carpet and walls start to need a refurbishing.
Paid WiFi with one hour free access.
