This is a modern, clean hotel with numerous modern conveniences that is situated close to Urbino. It makes an excellent base from which to explore this part of the Marche. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Excellent value!

The hotel is situated a little way out of Urbino with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. It is very easy to get into the town as a regular bus service stops by the hotel entrance and it costs one euro each way and takes just over 5 minutes.

The breakfast is excellent.

The restaurant adjoining the hotel was very good and popular. (Closed Wednesdays).

Given the wonderful position of this hotel it is a shame there is not a nice sitting out area with comfortable seating. There is a tiny space for sitting out with rather uncomfortable chairs. If this situation could be corrected then I would say it was a perfect place to stay in this area.

An absolute bargain. Nice place, very cheap off the net, polite staff, great bus service into town. A wonderful two days.

Mamiani Hotel combines the convenience of a business hotel (modern building, well-equipped rooms) with the charm and peace of its location (city outskirts, surrounded by beautiful Italian landscape). Staff was professional and friendly. I am unsure whether the restaurant in the same building is managed by the same hotel or not, but in any case we enjoyed our supper there very much. It was quite crowded with local-looking people, and considering how much Italians love quality food, that was a truly good guarantee.
Just two negative remarks: the bathtub took ages to fill and breakfast was a bit disappointing. Before arriving to the Mamiani, we spent the previous night in a much modest Tuscany hotel where the room was (exactly!) half the price and it offered a breakfast buffet not too different from the one we had at the Mamiani.
