“Not as good as it should be!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

I just left the hotel with my lovely wife, stayed here for couple of nights, the rooms are ok, clean, we had a sea view room which was nice yet it was a bit small, the bed is ok as well, yet the queen size matress was two single matresses put next to each other! It wasn't nice to find a crack in the middle of the bed!
We wanted to connect to the internet, but the wireless kept breaking up and were unable to use the wifi for more than 5 minutes ad when we were connected the connection was extremely slow... although it was free, yet very bad, extremely bad...
The breakfast here wasn't ok! The bread wasn't fresh, the the selection was really poor, there wasn't any kind of vegetables in the selection which we didn't like...
We had to pay extra 70 euros for the beach service (which should be included since we were staying in the hotel, yet the beach "service" wasn't included, and the service only included couple of towels, two beach beds, and only one bottle of water!!!!
We asked for only one hour late check out and they refused! That really wasn't nice...
We tried the Spa
services and couple of Massages abd those were actually worth it...
To be honest we really liked our 4 stars hotel in room way more than we liked this 5 stars one in Pesaro...

The hotel was great, new and very clean. They had a wide range of channels in English as well as a in room sound system where you can play the radio. The service at the beach was great with staff being friendly. Each meal tasted amazing. Great sea views would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Choose a sea view it's worth it

staid here days for business. unlucky weather did not help since it was raining all the time, but a wonderful view of the sea is relaxing and worth event without sun in this period (half of March).
Big room, very nice, even if some little finishing could be better.
My wife had a SPA treatment and she was just delighted by it, I did not had the pleasure...
Wonderful place worth a try for a relaxing and romantic week-end too.

The only reason that I didn't give the highest rating, is bacause I think that the hotel can still improve some stuff. I ve been to Excelsior for 2 nights because of a business trip. The view from my room was great. Rooms were very clean and bed excellent. The restaurant food was really good and people who served it as well. I strongly recommend to anyone who wants to stay at Pesaro.

Stayed at this beautifully refurbished hotel on the beach over New Year's. Our beach-view room was not very spacious, but extremely comfortable and clean. The Spa, obviously not that big, tended to get a little crowded, but it was always very clean and the staff extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant food was excellent, well cooked and served. Even on New Year's Eve, the dinner was absolutely superb, despite the large crowd. The hotel staff were all extemely kind and helpful and really made us feel at home. Moreover, the hotel is only about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Pesaro which is definitively worth a visit.

Outstanding service, excellent food, lovely hotel on the beach was remodeled 2 years ago in comfortable, modern style. Daily parking charge of Euro 20 is expensive, but every other aspect is a great value. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Room Tip: Jr suite very quiet with ocean view

I have stayed here a couple of times now. On both occasions the service levels have been very high and professional. Especially in the bar/restaurant - Eros is very attentive and the best bar man I have known. Each night the bar was spread with tapas style food complimentary which would feed most as dinner. The restaurant food was also very good. The spa is exceptional, very exclusive, clean and contemporary. Try a massage -excellent. My only gripe (if any) is the the internet. There is a stupid system in place that means you have to get a code from reception for every device you want to connect. So I had an iphone and mac. Thats two codes. The codes need to be then translated into logon and passwords and only last a few hours. So 3 x 2 times a day I had to go through this process. That needs sorting and bringing in line with other hotels of this calibre. TV channels all in Italian, but I didnt mind that too much although I dont understand a word.

Room Tip: Sea views are pleasant as you can hear the waves crashing in the night if you leave the door open
