“Well worth the visit !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

I visited the church today 18 th July and it is free to get in and well worth visiting . I went at 17.00 pm and qued for 15 mins which was not to bad . Please do not buy the Omnia pass as this is very miss leading saying you skip the queue and get a free audio worth 14 euro which you don't need this is a waste of money . If you go to the Vatican post office just outside the church to the right hand side they do a free English speaking tour on Tuesday and Thursday at 09.45 am for free I did not do this tour but I think it will be good to do . They also have a tour around the church for 7 euro which I think its also good to do . If I was to come back to Rome again I would visit this church again !

“Too Many Camera Touting Tourists”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

Important site marred by too many clueless tourists taking flash pictures. Gets to the point where you really can't see anything. Never mind any kind of spiritual experience. And I was there in January! I'd skip and spend the time in some of the older, less visited churches in Rome.

“Speechless!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

A sunny day, warm weather and the Vatican against the deep blue sky. Here you are, history, religion, beauty and a place where you quietly take it all in.
It has to be seen in all of its glory.

“A MUST SEE!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

This was an overall awe-inspiring place. The emotions I felt walking into this church I simply can't explain. You can feel the history and power of it the moment you walk in, no matter what faith you follow. There is so much to see and understand. Each and every detail is delicately and meticulously placed inside this church...pay attention to all of it and take it all in. Try to sit in for a Latin or Italian mass if you can, that was also a great experience for us. If you're not afraid of heights, try to make the hike atop St. Peter's dome. There is nothing like the view of the Vatican from the top. I do warn you, its not an easy feat, but totally worth it. One of the best parts of our trip, an amazing experience.
