We were wandering around Rome in late January wondering where everyone was, peering into empty restaurant after empty restaurant. Turns out they were all at Da Francesco - it was packed and had a great, warm, relaxed atmosphere. Most of the people in the restaurant seemed to be Italian - always a good sign. We had a generous mixed antipasto dish followed by roast leg of lamb and rosemary potatoes with broccoli. Very tasty and reasonably priced given the location (starter, main + side dish, mineral water and cover about 25 euro per person). Service was also efficient considering there wasn't a spare seat in the place!
