We stayed here at the beginning of September 2008, whilst attending a congress at the Nuove di Fiera centre near the airport.

It cost about 30 Euros to get there by cab from Fiumicino, and be sure to print out the address, as it's new and many cab drivers don't yet know the name.

The hotel only opened a few months ago, and it still looks and feels new, with a high standard of fixures and fittings. The lobby is nice, the staff extremely helpful. They took in courier deliveries for us and stored everything in their offices for our arrival. Check in was a touch slow, but was friendly. The lifts are nice and quite fast.

Rooms are nice - they have single rooms at reasonable prices, helpful for business travellers - as well as double and twin rooms. Some of the rooms have nice balconies. Air con works well. Everything very clean.

Breakfast good - self service and loads of choice.

The meeting room that we booked was excellent - nicely furnished and a good size. The food was good, and staff were helpful about bringing more drinks etc. However - the kitchens are only open until 11pm, and after that it's impossible to get any more drinks or snacks, not even water - we ended up raiding our room minibars for coke, water and crisps when our meeting went on late.

Only one area where they really need to improve - internet and business facilities. The internet is advertised as being fast - it's NOT. It's extremely slow, so you can barely access hotmail, never mind download files or access virtual desktops. And they don't have a business centre, so no photocopier, no printer, no paper, no envelopes, no CD-Rs, nothing - you'll need to take everything you need with you. During normal hours, staff were helpful with providing sellotape and paperclips, but that's about it.

Although I really liked it as a hotel, I'm not sure I'd stay again - the metro stop is 10 mins walk away, so you can get into the city fairly easily (or 15 euros by cab), but you feel really off the beaten track here, so it may not be ideal for tourists. The nearest ATM is a half hour walk away, or in the city. And without good internet, it's not really ideal for business travellers. And it's not especially close to the airports either, so I'm not really sure what clientele it's aiming at.

  • Liked — Nice, new, well-designed hotel with good, clean decor.
  • Disliked — Slow internet

This hotel is great. It´s a very modern, new, well located hotel. The room is very spacious and very well decorated. The staff is really helpful, specially Laura. It was a pleasent surprise in our trip to Europe. If I return to Rome I´ll stay there again without doubt.

The Hotel Pulizer Rome is undoubtedly the best hotel i have ever stayed in ! we arrived at 11:00 am and asked if we could leave our bags some where, we where told (in perfect English) that our room was ready and we could checkin now ! brilliant ! then we went up to the room ! the room was beautiful looked like it was out of a magazine, leather sofa's Large LCD TV, big safe (big enough to fit my 15" MacBook pro in) mini bar and a amazing bathroom with all the trimmings (dressing gowns, slippers) and the best thing about the room ? the bed ! it was a extremely comfy queen size bed (not 2 single bed pushed together) all in all a excellent room !
the hotel staff where all very friendly and spoke perfect English breakfast was to a very high standard also ! the cocktail bar was also very modern and produced some brilliant cocktails ! i booked directy on there website and paid 99 euros for 1 night but this included two breakfasts and a bottle of prosecco delivered to the door in a bucket of ice on a silver tray ! extremely good value for money, the location is also very good its 2 minutes to the tube station and 15 mins door to door to termini station, my only complaint is the square toilet, but it served its purpose ! my message to the Hotel Pulitzer mangment is well done ! and could i have the same rate in a few year when i come back ?

On arrival, there was a minor problem with our "Last minute.com" booking. Last minute didn't "Confirm" our booking. The reception staff were initially surprised and the receptionist quickly rectified the situation by contacting Last minute. All of this was carried out very professionally. We were then upgraded to a junior suite.

After touring Tuscany to book our wedding, we again, checked into this hotel, and were appointed a regular room.
Rooms are very spacious, clean and well appointed.

Great beds, and after a night touring Rome, there's no better sight than a crisp white cotton sheeted bed
The staff are very courteous and the majority speak good English.

The location may be outside Rome, however, the Metro runs through the Marconi Station which is around 200 metres from the hotel.

Virtually next door, is an old world Italian shop / deli. The hours are limited, as it must be run by the oldest / friendliest couple in Italy.

On checking out, the reception staff allowed us to use the hotels back office computer to check-in-online our return flights home. This was offered by the staff and was so appreciated by us.

If we ever return to Rome to stay, we will definitely stay here.
