My family stayed 7 nights at this "hotel".It's very well located near the Spanish Steps,all the shops,and many restaurants. The rooms are nicely decorated.

Unfortunately,we had a very bad experience on the 1st night in the Romulea Suite.This suite shares the same wall as the Dragontea Suite.We could not sleep because each time people from the Gragontea Suite used their bathroom(toilet,sink,etc), the noise would be "amplified" and kept us awake. It was strange ..as if there were no walls between both suites but worse(louder noise).

For the rest of our stay in Rome,we were in the Dragontea Suite so did not suffer from noise from other rooms except for doors squeaking when people would open/close their doors.

I'm really surprised that nobody mentioned in the previous comments about the fact that there's no reception in this hotel.When you arrive,the housekeeper tells you that you must pay the entire bill now because no employee is around... The only employee is the housekeeper who shows up for a few hours/day.

Once,I ended up looking around the entrance area when needing toilet paper and extra towels.I did end up finding some but it's strange to have NO service.

Another weird incident happened on Dec.24th:housekeeper did NOT clean/tidy our Dragontea Suite. We were in the room when he arrived in the hotel around 2PM. We left our room at 4PM to let him tidy the room.We came back at 5PM as he was leaving.He wished us Merry Xmas...we noticed that he had not cleaned our room when we opened our door.I guess the 10euros tip my husband gave did not help us get good service from the housekeeper.

Although the rooms were nice and the location just perfect,we would not return to this "hotel" due to the lack(none) of service.

After a recent 5 day stay in Suite Dragontea, I would definitely recommend Suites Rome to anyone visiting Rome. Spacious, clean and incredibly friendly do not even begin to describe what your stay will bring.

The location near the Spanish Steps as other reviewers mention is incredible and the streets surrounding the area are the liveliest in town - we had friends staying at the St. Regis who wished they were at our location. The streets are crowded early & late, but the windows are amazing and we never heard a peep until we opened them!

The effort made by the Suites Rome staff to make your stay comfortable is impeccable. The suite offers plenty of room for 4 travelers as we were in my group, air conditioning, and two incredibly clean rooms and bathrooms (one full bath, one toilet only). You will get the apartment feel in terms of size at less than a hotel cost.

Stefano, Norman & John were all very friendly and helpful, and made our stay in Rome the best part of our trip!

Right from the initial exchange of emails to paying the final bill the whole stay at Suites Rome was just perfect.
They say location is everything and this was just perfect. The street outside whilst bustling with shops, cafes and restaurants was not noticable from our room. The room we stayed in was the Romulea and it was perfect for 2 adults and a teenage daughter. The split level worked well and gave an air of space during our stay. The air con I can see being a real benefit in summer, although it was in the 70's when we were there!
I have mentioned the location and this was great for all the sights, breakfast and evening meals.
We loved Rome and I think Suites Rome made it as a great base for the 4 days!
\we threw the coins and we do plan to return and we will no doubt be contacting Stephane at Suites Rome.

We stayed at the Dragontea Suite that is very spacious and clean.
The Suites Rome location is unsurpassable, just a few steps to the Piazza Spagna and the rates are very suitable, as well.
