I loved staying here in Rome. It was close to Via Veneto and Villa Borghese as well as the Metro. The service was fantastic and the room was gorgeous. It was a true home away from home.

The Alex Inn was absolutely fantastic. I stayed with my partner for New years at this hotel. It was clean, breakfast each morning (brought to your room) was amazing! Air conditioning and heating, marble floor and bathroom and cable television.

For the price it was exceptional. 7 nights for 795 EURO! The lady who brings breakfast doesnt speak alot of english but we managed to figure it out. The girl at the front desk (mexican i think she was) is FANTASTIC. She helped with where the nightlife, restaurants, tricks of rome.

Would i stay there again? Absolutely. I have booked my parents in.

The Alex Inn is a lovely small boutique style hotel near the Trevi Fountain. My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights while in Rome in May. Our room was small but nicely furnished and very clean. We had a cozy patio area where we were served a very nice breakfast each morning. The staff was very friendly though it should be noted that there was not always a staff member on site who spoke English. This was not a problem for us as I speak some Italian but it could be a challenge for someone who does not. The hotel is very conveniently located about 3-4 blocks from the Barbarini subway stop. However to get to the hotel from the subway you do have to ascend a rather long flight of stairs to reach the street on which the hotel is located. This could be a bit of a problem for someone with a lot of luggage or someone with physical limitations.

The Alex Inn is located close to Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. It is small and intimate and our room was really nicely laid out and care had obviously been taken in the decor and furnishing. It is clearly a place not really set up for families, more for couples seeking a romantic break, or young people out to enjoy the sites and sounds of the city. The locaton and the rooms themselves made this the ideal spot for our break as you really are in the centre of everything here and all there is to see and enjoy seemed to be in wllking distance which saves money on Taxis and the like. Would definetely recomend it and the only thing the could be improved would be the breakfast which often in Italy seems to be less substatial than what one would get back home.
