“Value for money.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012 via mobile

The hotel is clean, comfy and simple. When we checked in, the staff behind the desk took our suitcases to our room. The staff was very helpful and didn't hesitate to give us advice, call for taxi's etc. The room was a good size, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was big. Having aircon was a treat and it wasn't noisy at night. I thought the breakfast was simple but there is enough options for everyone, I would also recommend the coffee. The hotel was situated in a quiet neighbourhood and it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to the metro where you can get the tube to the tourist spots. I would definitely recommend this hotel, definitely value for money.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

I stayed in one of the Crosti residence apartments, about a 5 minute walk from the main hotel for one night. The apartment itself was fine, clean and spacious with the only slight niggles being a shower which was difficult to set to a sensible temperature and was also too small, and a slightly scary lift. However my main problem with the hotel was the member of staff who initially checked me in. He was extremely rude and unhelpful. I didn't have my passport as I was staying elsewhere in Italy and had only visited Rome for one overnight stay, and he at first claimed that my UK drivers licence which I was using as photo ID was unacceptable, and his general demeanor after this was unpleasant. All the other staff I had to deal with were fine however.

Its a simple clean hotel. Quiet neighborhood especially at night. Breakfast consists of limited selection of ham, cheese, pastries, cereals, fruits, coffee and juice. Elevator is quite small (fits 2 persons with baggage) and has steel door just like in movies. Walking distance of about 15 mins. to the Central Station where you can book all the hop on hop off tours and metro/trains.. Limited staffs so you need to carry all your baggages...

If you are planning just a decent place to stay at in Rome, then this is the hotel for you. It is located 10 mins walking distance from the central station. It is a relatively small hotel with a decent room, clean and comfy.

What I look about this hotel is its vibe. You get the Italian lifestyle living, no fuss, very authentic. They also have a nice staff but do not expect any VIP treatment. You check-in and that is it. They won't bring your luggage to your room as they only have 1 person staffing the front desk the entire day. Breakfast is simple, with a few breads, cheeses and ham. Nothing fancy.

It value for money hotel! Clean, comfy and conveniently located. Do not expect anything more than this. The Internet connection was not working when I was there so that was a bit of an inconvenience.

The hotel is preety close to Termini station, which gives access to metro and immediate connection to rome-fiumicino airport. The staff is really friendly and helpfull despite what i had previously read on several sites on the net. The room was nice and not very noisy, clean and with air-condition! The breakfast was really great with excellent coffee! I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind walking or taking transportation to all the touristic attractions.
