Great hotel. Clean, comfortable, with all the comforts. Free internet in the lobby, mini fridge in the room that actually has reasonable prices. A/C, hairdryer, TV etc.. Hotel staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. Only drawback is the location, it's not really in the middle of things, however if you were like us and spent the whole day sightseeing it was easy enough to get to and from all the main attractions.

I have to say I am so glad we stumbled upon this hotel via the internet. We had booked it due to its proximity to a venue at which we were meant to be seeing a band. The venue changed but we decided to keep the booking, and were glad we did.

The hotel is a few metres away from Re di Roma metro station, on a quiet side street. At first glance it would appear to be "out of the way" but there are shops and metro on the doorstep. It was near enough to all facilities and quieter than being right in the centre of Rome, a perfect location.

We were lucky enough to be given the suite on the 5th floor, complete with its own huge balcony - with table and chairs. Such luxury for the price we paid was incredible.

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful, it's a pity we could only stay 1 night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone whhether for a night or a week.

Free internet, and breakfast included in the price just added to our stay.

Belissimo!

This hotel is a bargain for those staying in Rome, it has a lovely modern interior and I enjoyed having a breakfast provided in the morning. The service at the hotel was great, very helpful people at the desk. We got a cab to the airport below what the guidebook priced us at. However, like other reviews indicated, the hotel is a bit challenging to find and the surrounding neighborhood leaves little to be desired. Graffiti decorates the walls on nearly every building nearby including the hotel. There are really no restaurants in the neighborhood nearby so you'll have to rely on the metro to get to good restaurants. However, I put the review at "very good" due to the price, it's hard to come by a place that doesn't charge an arm and a leg in Rome.

This is a fabulous hotel for location, price, comfort, friendliness, and if i ever open a hotel of my own i will headhunt their cleaning staff - our room was sparkling! only prob was... finding it! they dont have a sign at the door saying 'Hotel' as you might expect. just an A4 page, with quite a small logo, we walked past this hotel twice - if you get to via vercelli (which is as easy as previous reviews state) - then use the hotels street number (21) to find it. once inside tho - its everything you can expect from a top class hotel. Breakfast is fairly good, bread rolls, cheese and ham, and the usual assortment of spreads, ( tho no yogurts or eggs). If you are travelling from Fiumcianno (L.d.Vinci) Airport take the local Sabina train to Tuscolana station (about 30-40 mins from Fiumcianno, L.d.Vinci) its only e5.50. (the other alternative which is the Leonardo Express takes you into rome centre for e11.00 and then a further e1.00 to take you to Re di Roma). make sure to validate your train ticket in the yellow machines BEFORE boarding, the inspectors on the trains dont seem to have a lot of sympathy if you get this wrong. on leaving tuscolana station walk out onto Via Tuscolana which is a big main street and turn right, walk for about five mins. Via Vercelli is the last street on left, if you overshoot, you will find yourself at the roundabout also called Re di Roma, and via vercelli runs off this roundabout, so you definately wont get lost. This roundabout is also where you get the metro which is simple to navigate, Re di Roma is on the red line which runs up to 11.30pm. (just four stops brings you to Termini, the central train station in Rome). e1.00 for a ticket which you can use for one journey anywhere in the city, or e4.00 for an all day pass. We arrived at night and the neighbourhood wasnt brightly lit and at first we were a bit nervous, but it turned out to be an area where locals live and the streets are very safe. as we were only on a three day break we bought 'two day pass' for the Roma open top bus tours,(green bus) e24.oo for two days - really good value). i found at all the attractions that the lines are horrendous up until about 2pm, and you are tempted to pay (a lot) extra for 'skip the line' entry, but if you go a little later in the day, there are less crowds and you usually only have to wait for about 10-15 mins in the Q, also as its a little later in the day the temperatures arent as bad. All the tours seem to be open until 7pm during the summer Highlights for me was Trevi Fountain at night.
