Steyed for 4 nights,we had one of their nice rooms and it was very roomy,airy and all in all very pleasant,room had a tv,bathroom with shower,very clean and comfortable,we had a good nights sleep,we would stay here again.

While I'll start off with the positives, there's still much to dislike about this hotel making me question why it is rated so highly. On the positive side is that the hotel has good access to public transport, the Re di Roma Hotel is located within meters of a metro stop, however there are no major sites near the hotel. Another positive is that the hotel is clean and is well maintained. However here is where the hotel loses major points, it's horrible service. We had an annoying incident with the shower that was very poorly handled by the staff. Because of the way that the bathroom is poorly built, (there are no curtains or walls stopping the water from the shower from flooding the rest of the bathroom) water flooded our bathroom and flooded parts of our room. We contacted the reception to inform them. The gentleman in reception brought us a mop and an empty bucket. When we asked him if there was no one to take care of it, he bluntly said no, and asked us to call him when we were done cleaning up so he could collect the mop. We were in complete disbelief at the kind of service offered, now coming from a place like Dubai where service is impeccable and hotels are of the highest standard we thought that this is just perhaps the way things are done in Europe. However, when staying in a hotel where you are paying for a room and for service, these basic issues should be handled with a lot more care in order to guarantee client satisfaction. I don't think I would stay at this hotel again, I would recommend you stay in a hotel closer to the Fontana Trevi, which is the area with the major sites. This hotel is slightly secluded from the rest of the touristic destinations and well the service is horrible!

We stayed in Hotel Re di Roma for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel was modern in decor, had extremely friendly and helpful staff and met our every expectation based on the hotel photos and descriptions.
The room was large, clean and boasted a large balcony. The mattress was extremely comfortable, the bedding was very good and the pillows were also very comfortable! We rested very well during our stay here.
The hotel is well located. A short 2 minute walk to the Metro A line. Many great restaurants within a short walk as well. Staff at the hotel were very helpful with restaurant suggestions.
The hotel had a bar onsight where ice was always available. This I found out, is not always the case in European hotels. A continental, buffet breakfast was included with the price of the room.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Excellent value and exceeded our expectations of a 4 Star hotel in Roma.

My Husband and I stayed in this hotel for four nights, although the hotel is not in a central location it is next to a metro which means you can be at the main attractions in minutes. The area surrounding the hotel is residential and a bit scruffy, however, the hotel is good and i would recommend it to anyone going to Rome. The rooms are large and spacious and are kept clean, they offer little extra touches which makes a difference!Some of the staff were friendly and helpful and someone were a bit moody! The breakfast was reasonable but nothing fantastic.
There is a great restaurant nearby the hotel, restaurante 'aquila d'abruzzo on via aosta 17. On the outside it says "restaurante" "pizzeria" its a family run italian restaurant, the food is great and really reasonable and you can get a litre of wine for 5 euros, believe it or not but the wine is actually good as well! It was a great place to know as a lot of food in Rome is overpriced and a bit rubbish as they rely on tourists not walking of the beaten track!
