“Down homey restaurant in Rome!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

Housed in the ground floor of an apartment building in downtown Rome, this restaurant had a feel of being down home, or independent, running it their way. Unique dishes graced the menu, and, obviously, impeccable service. WiFi was also freely available, so I was able to check in as well!
Only problem was not allowing free water, we were required to buy it.

“Excellent food at a good price, only a few moments from Termini”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

An underground restaurant, on the corner of Via Pricipe Amedeo, almost opposite the Star Hotel. Food was good and well priced for Rome, with good service. Staff very friendly and speaking good English, although I insisted on practicing my Italian! Good place to eat.

“A Restaurant to eat at more than once”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

Cool of the evening, looking for a restaurant. This one looks OK... just around the corner from the Termini end of Cavour street. More than OK...excellent food (in fact, some of the best we found in 10 weeks of European travel), very good house wine, good friendly service, sit outside and watch the world go by. I was amazed by the economical cost. Recommend!

“I was disappointed, having read previous reviews.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

I read reviews prior to eating at this restaurant. I feel that it was not an honest transaction for dinner as the service charge and the cuperto ( cover charge) added up to fifteen Euro. There was no mention of a service charge of 11 Euro beforehand (four people were dining.) I questioned this and was told, very dramatically, that the cost was for the bread and table setting. In addition, what was served as veal tasted more like pork, and tough pork at that. I will recommend another restaurant in that area that is really good.

“Reliable local restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

We enjoyed reasonable priced freshly cooked Italian food with good red wine sold by the carafe.
The service was efficient and the friendly staff had a good command of English so there were no language problems at all.
