We stayed for three nights in late September.
The room was good, not huge but not tiny, there was a fridge (although we could never get it very cold), fan, dresser and wardrobe and everything was clean and tidy. One window, which opened over the street but had quite a nice view. We booked over the internet and despite specifying a double bed, Maria somehow received the booking as being for 2 singles. When we arrived and she confirmed we were not brother and sister (!) she quickly pushed the beds together and remade them! There were two bathrooms, one pretty small (we only once had to wait to use it) and one larger (usually busy).
Free internet in the communal room, although only one machine and sometimes we couldn't get on it.
Maria was very helpful, providing a map and showing us where to find the important sights and amenities. Breakfast was available from around 7 till 10: croissants, cereal, yoghurt, juice, and she made hot chocolate, tea or coffee to order.
The location was excellent, 10 minutes walk to the Colossuem or to Termini train/metro station. There were a number of restuarants within 20m of the front door.
On our last night some of the other guests were making horrendously loud crashes in their rooms until about 2am, shaking the floors etc, but this was not the hosts' fault!
I thought it was encellent value (euro 58 per night for 2)
