Horrible. Absolutely horrible. I tend to roll my eyes at reviews that state, "I don't understand why everyone else thought so highly of this restaurant," but it's time to be a hypocrite, because I honestly do not understand why everyone else thought so highly of this restaurant. Overall the appetizers were okay good (the antipasto was average while the bruschetta al pomodoro was excellent), but the entrees varied from average to just plain awful. The veal was horrendous 00 it tasted like cardboard (an opinion seconded by the couple eating next to us who had ordered the same dish) and the gnocchi tasted like overly sweet dough and was DROWNING in the tomato sauce. The panna cotta was good, as was the wine, but overall it was not a pleasant experience. The waiting was some of the worst we had had in Italy -- we had to hail down our waiter multiple times to remind him of the wine we had ordered (that said another waiter seemed much more efficient and attentive).
Giving the restaurant two stars instead of one because of the appetizers, dessert, and very cheap prices. But all in all the food just isn't worth it if you hope to have a complete meal.
