The food was fine but they charge a €4 cover charge just for sitting at the restaurant which is ridiculous.

“Terrible service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

After visiting the Spanish Steps and s short walk thur the business district, we decided to stop in and have something to drink and a light snack. Nearly ten minutes went by before a waiter decided to come out and ask us what we wanted. I asked for a menu and some water. He quickly returned with the menu's and then disappered. It was nearly 10 minutes and he never returned. At that point we decided to leave and never return. There is hundreds of excellent restaurants in Rome that you don't have to wait for a glass of water. When you have only 7 patrons at your restaurant, you think you would have better service.

“Great Food and Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

We loved this place!! The pizza was great but they also offered a wide selection of dishes for the entire family. Perfect dinner spot before a post dinner stroll to spanish steps. It is located near the busy shopping street via del corso so perfect for lunch or dinner. Our hotel Concierge recommended it and it is popular with Italians and tourist.

“Old fashion type of trattoria”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

After a cold start from the service, although at first they did help to move table around and make space even if it was already quite busy. We were 7 of us. The old waiter, (not sure if it is the same mentioned previously ;-) was a bit cold and not very friendly at the start. But we tried to be nice and firendly (I know it is usually the other way around but that some time the way it is in latin country) and after some jokes he started to warm up and was friendly at the end of the evening and offer us some limoncello. The food was good, really like my veal. Pizza was really good too. Carbonara were maybe not the best we had! They were lot of italian there and it gives a feel of the city and their people. So maybe not the best food ever but quite typical and not touristy. And that's also nice especially in Rome where the city seems to be only composed of tourists!
